    There is no morality when it comes to war; both sides are at fault. The United States is defending it's own interests out of fear, as are the Iraqis. What it comes down to is that the only true killers are the ones that sit in office buildings from thousands of miles away and order it to be done... the ones that come on tv and brainwash us into believing that all arabs are our enemies, and that none of them should be trusted... Pick sides if youd like.... but to wish death upon ANY soldier that is ordered to "defend his/her nation" and be sacrificing his/her life for what they believe to be the common good is less "moral/ethical" than any other part of war... you are simply falling victim to the plans of the blood-thirsty governments.

    really how do you explain all the other conflicts around the world where jihadis are killing people and there are no american troops.

    what about sectarian killings in iraq where the target isnt american or british, its shia or sunni or christian .

    the usa isnt so all powerful that it controls every agenda

    There shouldn't have been sanctions in the first place. Iraq never would have been such bad neighbors without foreign involvement.

    Modern war != self defence.

    It's stupid. If the terrorists (who are apparently the 'official' reason for war) came from a western country able to defend itself, the US government would have gone about the 'self-defence' in a completely different way. Ie. not blowing the shit out of them.

    Are you so sure, they don't? If by USA you include those that influence US policy, who necessarily aren't US citizens, but have access and influence over what the US does.

    I wondered about this very question when GW made his famous declaration that we were at war with all forms of terrorism after 9/11. I wondered what he was going to do about the IRA. Seems they don't fit his definition of terrorism. Guess, you have to look different, dress differently and believe in something other than Judeo/Christian precepts to fit the "profile".

    We aren't then why did we go into Iraq...."they had WMD, they were part of 09/11, Sadam murdered his people 12 years earlier" And all of these have proven to be so accurate....according to the Gospel of GW.

    Isn't that a defensive stance that we took to bomb and occupy them? If it wasn't why are we there?
