Oh, I am SO bad at the "clean as you go" rule.

I think whoever is the better cook should cook. My guy can cook boxed pasta and cold cereal. I do the rest, but I enjoy it and he likes it and neighbours like it so everything's good. Honey has started dinner a few times though, which was nice.

I think whoever doesn't cook should clean, so the work load is more even.

That would be ME. Any new pot/pan/tool I want,
I GETZ!!! I'm sending my oatmeal/rasin cookies to work with my wife.
I want the head chef to taste them. She's a waitress at a casino
    here in Vegas.
    I'm a Baker as a hobby.

Jeremy cooks a lot. Our first date he made me dinner, I had never heard of hollandaise sauce. His mother taught him well and he is a great cook. He doesn't enjoy it as much as he used to though. I like to bake so that is what I do most often.

All I know is I'm certainly not like my mother and her friends. They can't leave their husbands for long because they have to "go make the man a meal". I'm like, what he can't open a can and turn on the microwave. I'm sure if he were hungry he'd figure out how to feed himself. The other day my mom asked me "don't you have to go home and make dinner for Jeremy?" I was like hell no, he better have dinner ready when I get there. (he was off all day and I was working two jobs that night).

Lets see.... My mom taught me do how to do laundry when I was 10 my dad taught me how to iron when I was 12 and I've been a cook for 6 years and am headin' off to Culinary School in the Fall.(its a vegan/vegetarian program no less).

I used to have big meals and dinner parties when I lived back east. Most of my friends live back east and I have no girlfriend to cook for so I rarely get very fancy unless I'm at work.
