You and me both. Plus I get super shakey and irritable. I couldn't do a fast like that, no way, no how.
i think it'd be more ofa mindset breaker for me. you know, to shake my head up a little bit, break me outta my funk. the nutritional aspects of it are null, it's that brain overhaul i'm into.
When I fast I do it the anorexic way - I just have water. I do it for three days every once in a while. Although I did try for a week long fast once and collapsed.
Yeah, I never do any of those diets. I just try to eat healthy and enjoy the "bad" stuff in moderation. Plus I'm pretty active, which definitely helps.
I'm pretty sure I could go for a while without eating if I tried. two weeks ago when I was up in New York.. I didn't feel like spending money on anything aside from wine and whiskey, so I hardly ate the entire time. only thing is, when I'm at home, I get waaaay too bored. I'd probably last into day two and then persuade myself into eating with thoughts like 'food is good for you' 'starving isn't the way' 'that looks delicious, just eat it'
I love soup. I make all kinds of homemade soups here, one of my favorite comfort foods! What kind of soup did you make? I'm actually thinking of making a toscano soup today. It's rainy and dreary out, good day for it.
i made chicken & barley chili. so good. i made the broth outta skinless chicken pieces, seasoned the crap out of it. added two cans of diced, fire roasted tomatoes, two cans rinsed black beans, two small cans of green chili, two cups of barley and a can of corn. oh! and a can of tomato paste. it's SO YUMMY.
