Do you really believe that somepeople are just ment to be alone? That there are actual people who never fall in love or find their soulmate, if they have one, they just spend their lives by themselves. That's so sad. Why would there not be somebody out there for someone else. No body should be alone, it doesn't seem fair.

i believe there is the potential for anyone to meet someone special and fall in love, possibly even be together for life, but it doesn't mean that's for everyone. some people are content being alone, and that's really cool, too :) i think what's fulfilling in life is doing what makes YOU happy, being yourself, and forming fulfilling relationships with people you care about..friends, family, etc...i know a man who is 35 years old, unmarried, single, and he doesn't care! he is a very talented musician who has many great friends and lives a very fun and satisfying life. so many single people that age pine and focus on how "alone" they are. you are only alone if you isolate yourself, i say. friends are great, family is great (and not just biological family, but people who you are close to). companionship comes in all kinds of forms, and love also comes in many forms. everyone needs love in SOME form. as long as you have some kind of love in your life, you're good, i believe.

i am in an amazing relationship with a wonderful man. i desired to end up with someone special one day and fall in love, but i didn't pine over it. all the times i've been single, i've really gotten to know myself, and that's so important for everyone.

long story short: we as humans desire companionship. is love divine? are we pre-assigned by destiny a person to be with forever? we'll never know. all we can know is that love comes from many places, and as long as we love ourselves and have love somewhere in our lives, we can be happy...
