I think we need to remember that when we boycott meat, we may be bringing down the man and his evil factory farms, but were denying honest farmers a chance to make money and support theyre families. Some of my best friends live on cattle farms, and if nobody bought meat they would be out of work and on the streets. So if your against meat, please boycott it intellegantly. Buy locally raised meat, where you know the animals wernt torchered and held in small cages. Its the big corporations such as smiths and oscar mayer that need boycotted.

I'm a vegetarian, but i'm not one of those vegetarins that preach to people about not eating meat, if you like meat then you like meat, people need to stop trying to change people everyone has there own opinion on everything, leave the meat eaters alone.

i had beef today for lunch. with nachos in chili. it was good. much better than eating a salad or tofu burger. cows are my friends, i would like to shake hooves with every cow i eat. They are the best friends one could hope to eat. And i bet my recently digested cow is in cow heaven being judged. If he lived a good cow life he gets to come back to india where he will be worshipped. Most likely he will be reincarnated into a carne asada burrito and i love my cow for that.

Actually, the beef that was in your chili was most likely made up of at least 30 cows, maybe more. Ground beef is made by taking all the leftovers (after they've taken out the part used for steak, prime cuts, etc.) and mashing them together. Still tasty.

I had a Crispy Twister from KFC for lunch today, with pepper mayo, lettuce, and tomato and a Pepsi. It was good.

Hot dogs, bologna, pretty much anything Oscar Mayer, it's all disgusting. Aside from the kosher type, the meat that goes into that stuff is the absolute worst parts of pigs. Tails, ears, hooves, balls, whatever they have left over after making ham and bacon gets tossed into a meat grinder, and what comes out are hot dogs.

There's a pretty good book called Fast Food Nation (I think that's what it's called), I borrowed it from a friend a while back, it's written by a former FDA official I believe, it talks about everything having to do with fast food. He describes the conditions in slaughterhouses and warehouses and how the meat gets handled, it's some pretty nasty stuff. You'd be suprised how the meat really goes from being an animal in a pasture to being between two slices of bread with pickles and cheese.

Ahh yes, good book!! i had to read it for a history class, and it's amazing what's put in there....

not only does it talk about meat, it also talks about how fast food companies regulate min. wage in the U.S. and take advantage of their employees... it also talks about natural and artificial flavorings that are put into foods.. really really interesting stuff in there, i would highly recommend it! almost a modern-day Jungle perhaps?

Yeah...I heard what's in sausage...and to think I liked to eat that stuff! Ugh..and chicken nuggets also have all the chicken's crap in 'em. Sometimes they put eyes and noses in thee too. And that which hasn't been put in there is this crap we call Geletin,-which is in almost everything nowadays! We vegitarians struggle not finding somethin'
    with Gelatin nowadays..>.>

Actually, most ground beef comes from so called "grinders" and bulls. Grinders are basically just old brood cows sent to the market for that purpose, they're not worth anything so they make ground beef out of them. But of course yes, trimmings are ground as well, very tasty....

    hahaha

I don't even think it's right for small farm owners to control animals in such ways. But I think you're wrong about what your cattle farm owning friends would do if no one bought their meat. Of course they would find other ways to live. Just because you are used to living one way, does not mean that is the only way.
    Also, I think this
    is fucking hilarious. :)
I boycott all forms of animal farming.
