    Whew! I finally finished my research and posting it;
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Medical-Studies-Prove-The-Extensive-Damage-LSD-Does-To-The-Body-Mind

I know it's a long read, but I had to answer each of the research articles he quoted and then post research supporting my position.
I am interested to see what Hal is going to do. He said "I will go through every single one of your statements (that I have to admit I have not read through yet) and totally debunk your claims that LSD is safe."
Interested to see how he proposes to accomplish that, considering there is no reputable research to support him. And they aren't my claims, they are the result of scientific research.
I laugh that he hasn't even read any of them yet. I doubt he has read anything about it.

Oh well, my part of it is pretty much done, give it a look over, actually lots of good factual information there and linked to as well.
    Stay tuned for further developments.

Remember to join in but keep your comments civilized or they will just be deleted.

That was awesome PB, cant wait to see what he says to that although he seems to already trying to balk at all the "work" he has to do. Thanks for all the effort, again great job! :cheers2:

    Thanks yellowcab. :)
I also am very curious to see how he is going to "debunk all my claims" considering I provided no personal opinion regarding LSD, just what has been found through research. I linked to all research quoted so it's verifiable that it's not just my claims.
Even when I did hint at personal opinion regarding his views, it is based on what he has said, so there again, facts.
Kinda hard to debunk the "hundreds of peer reviewed papers" when they don't support his position in the slightest.

As I said in my closing comment, he just assumed I was a burnout with no education or ability and that I would be intimidated by the research he quoted.

I guess he should never assume, should he.

One of the clearest and more consistent examples of someone being completely owned I've ever seen. A round of applause, a drink, and a toke all to you smith.

Oh no, he's far to narcissistic and convinced of his supremacy to just go away. He may just kill the whole hub though. Thats OK because I have a complete copy of the entire thing and will just publish my own hub if he does something like that.

I am curious to see how he "debunks" the research that he himself quoted though.

me too man, i posted a comment saying something along the lines of "if you wanted to have a legit discussion why are leaving key parts of the articles out"

obivously we know why, i wonder if it'll get approved

But anyways man im glad you took the time to do this, maybe it'll change some peoples views on LSD for the better. Brings it a little closer to rescheduling imo

To PB_Smith or anyone else out there who may know of it, I am wondering if you have run into a study done at a university back in the day in relation to learning whilst on LSD.

The particular experiment im thinking of was of a guy who had been learning German for a while but never really got the hang of it, and then after taking acid and spending a day only speaking German to someone else, became quite fluent in the language.

I believe the article i saw about it in just mentioned it briefly and so i am looking for more information on it, I read the article over a year ago and haven't had any luck finding it.
It also included a number of other studies with the students of the university on LSD's effects on learning, which if memory serves had some very interesting results.

Nice work....and a lot of work at that....
Even if he does come up with some bullshit response, as long as he leaves what you put up there, people who are smart enough to look through it will know the truth. That's all you can really hope for.
It's a great resource for anyone who has come across any of those studies and misinterpreted them like he did. I hope it gets a lot of traffic!

I have not come across the particular study your looking for, though my research was focused on just a few types of studies and not all. There is a vast amount of research about LSD. It was heralded as a real wonder drug in psychiatry in the '40's & 50's and a lot of different work was done with it. I will keep my eye out for studies such as the one you mentioned.

Excellant work,Mr Smith. My real world experience relates to LSD and alcohol abuse.Due to familial emotional issues from my youth,I was a serious alcohol abuser and was a danger to myself and anyone around me when abusing it. To keep from aknowledging my issues,I would 'liquor up' and the emotions would spill out in very reckless ways.I was fearfull of taking LSD as the stories I heard were of the usual--man dives out of window after taking LSD--and so forth. At 28 ,I finally did decide to to take it and when I did,a mental light went on and I didn't touch a drink for 22 years, thus allowing me to begin healing. That was truly helpfull, but the most important part was the insight gained that "things" were not as they seemed.I was able to look at my life and begin to view EVERYTHING in a more objective light and to philosophically mature. Not to mention becoming much more more observant.Oh,I took it for enjoyment many times after that first time, but more importantly, the spiritual part of existance became apparent and important to me for the first time in my life.So all and all ,LSD was an important milestone in my life.I have seen folks really messed up on it,but as you said and as I have understood, underlying psychological problems can be bad news for some. As with so many issues nowadays, obfuscation and outright lying twist issues to suit motives. Anyway,I stepped through that "door" and when I turned around, the door disappeared.------ Testamonial over. I don't recommend it for young people, but they do it anyway,so----
