i do it when im home and need to relax. i also do it when im by myself in school. ill sleep yet i got this breathing thing going on while i sleep. its really relaxful.
I've tried but I'm too high strung. I just sit there and think about what a waste of time it is. I'm one of those people who hates that they have to sleep lol. I have to much shit to do and accomplish to waste 8 hours. But I also realize you need sleep to be effective and at your best. meditation is like the same thing for me, I realize it can improve my life, but I can't bear to relax that long. I kind of like to think of weed as active meditiation. It makes me more open to shit, but I can still get shit accomplished.
i used to use zazen, but lately, with the changes in my life, i've been meditating on certain thoughts, or like asilos vulnerado said, i concentrate on the vibrations of those ideas.
Seems I've missed this thread until today, oh well I will share I meditate once or twice a week and when I meditate I try and think of nothing but white. Like in the Matrix, near the end when he is like "Guns!" and countless rows pour in. I try and keep my mind like that, the total whiteness, I try not to think anything, but to totally clear my mind of all burdens. It really helps, and when I come out of it I am totally re-energized. I've been meditating for a little over 2 years now. I have taken breaks, and there is times where I will meditate 6-7 times a week.
I really wish I meditated more, but my house is usually too loud and crazy. I do meditative walking a lot though where I just keep focusing on the feeling of my feet touching the ground and my breathing. That's always a great way to clear out my head
I meditate as a stress-reliever. Completely relaxing my body and then my mind completely refreshes me. Such a mood booster!
