honestly i probably wouldn't be able to commit to a road trip, but i definitely would like to meet up if you guys were coming through my area (rochester in western new york state). or i'd go to a nearby festival. i know there is a really small and cheap (10 or 20 bucks), but fun as hell one in naples NY july 30 - aug 1

i should have known better than to say what i did - about only posting relevant stuff....

but i had some more ideas besides the naples music festival
allegany state park (this is in western NY, close to the border of PA)
kinzua dam - in western/northern PA
both these places have great scenery and camping spots. cabins to be rented if you wanted. places for RVs? not too pricy. great hiking and you can swim too.

also letchworth state park and get ready...
STONYbrook park. they are both in western new york too. letchworth is think referred to as the grand canyon of the east, but i could have just made that up. and stonybrook has some sweet waterfalls that you can walk under.

i would say the festival would be the most fun option. then kinzua, then stonybrook.
come to at least one of these things. there are a lot of NYers and PAers that could at least stop by for a day or weekend

 

One of the possibilities for next year's Rainbow Gathering is in the Allegheny National Forest.

I think philly will definitely be one of the stopping points since so many SLers live there.

 

IDK when you're planning this for, but Hash Bash in Ann Arbor is always a good time. It starts with a rally for legalization and then everybody just chills on the U of M campus smokin buds, listening to music, and buyin/selling various goods and drugs.
