if a child ended up in a coma by some terrible accident with little chance of ever recovering, and the question came up whether to let him live out a long life as a vegetable on a machine or pull the plug and let him die, should only the mother have a say? ...should hers be the final say?? I believe when the topic of abortion comes up we, as women, think too much about ourselves and our body rather than about the life inside of us. just my opinion, but, if someone really, really, really doesn't want to have a kid or ever be pregnant, they should probably not have sex at all. sex makes babies. i mean, don't you think if you use condoms, birth control, whatever, and you STILL get pregnant, perhaps it was meant to be. perhaps that child has some purpose in this world???
right, because most men that accidently knock up a girl are responsible and i wasn't the one that gave you the bad rep...i would've said it was me
i think it depends on the situation......if u got pregnant in a loving relationship with someone u care about and respect then it should be a discussion that u have as a couple. if its a one night thing and the guy is never to be seen agian i dotn see y it would matter. i do however thing girls should recieve good counsle befor they make there choice. and guys as well. and make sure they recieve good medical care. to protect the idea of future children
By "accident" I assume you're talking about a girl who's not your girlfriend or wife... in that case, not only would I not want to start a relationship with her (one nite-stand....), I sure as hell wouldn't want to be a father. The guy is not the one carrying the baby around, he should have no say whatsoever. Unless somehow he did carry the baby...
