When I lived in my little hometown in California, my cat Maggie would come a'running when I called her name or when I called out FOOD. She had an extra toe--a big one, not just a little appendage--my son saw her in our yard one day eating a french fry with one paw, just like human would! Miss that one a lot--she was a good kitty.
No, unfortunately. She was a black kitty. I lived in a very quiet neighborhood and she could roam at will with no danger.
Sure do. They're family. I remember all the kitties I have had over the years. Right now, I have visitation on the two downstairs that my sons mother in law has---they were afraid at first, but my magic kittie fingers soon made me a fan of theirs!!! Love that scratchin"
Kids don't want any in the house now--d in law is allergic. Saddens--there so many in shelters that need homes. So it goes. And good on you for taking care of ANY kitties that come around.
