    rainbow, trash - Thrash :p

Slayer are really showing their age now though, in 1989 they would have been unbelievable.

That being said, they're still one of the greatest bands around.

    Vaginal Jesus is bloody hilarious.

Anyhow, Slayer is what they play in hell, so they win by default.

In hell they play Jerry Falwell's speech on the GLBT community causing 9/11. On repeat. Trust me, I've been there.

Oh, and I also caused 9/11.

I don't know, most people I know who listen to Pantera did so before Dimebag died, but someone dying like that does get their name out there to people who never cared before, just like I'm sure for example after Syd Barrett died, alot of people who never had before went and download some Syd songs and became fans.

As sad as it is, Pantera has become popular on dime's death, in the same vein as nirvana with kurt. But, it is a fact that they began selling 1000's of records more each week after dime's death. While I can't remember the figures, it was something to the extent of going from 400 records a week to 5000.

Lol, I am suprised record companies don't hire hitmen to kill people from mainstream metal bands that are losing their edge. Think of the money! Hardyharharhar

O man the music industry would boom. I mean BOOM! Think what would happen if someone killed off Mustaine. I think every store would seel out of megadeth albums.

So the other night I seen a Metallica concert on t.v....yeah....after a few songs I turned it to something better, like an infomercal. Someone should tell them it's time to retire.

So you'd rather watch an informercial than a metallica concert. wow, you're cool.

In concert I have seen metallica 6 times, megadeth 5 times, pantera 3 times and slayer 3 times.

Metallica and megadeth put on really good shows, I would have to say some of the best shows I have ever been to. Both do a very good performance and show thier talents live. I was never disapointed at any of the shows. and for those of you who do not like the new stuff do not use that as an excuse not to go since they both mostly play the old classic stuff we all love.

Pantera were good live but not nearly as good as metallica and megadeth.

I know I will piss off many of you but slayer sucked live when I saw them. the vocals are not even close to what they are on the albums, especially the older stuff since he can not scream that high anymore. two out of three times the sound kept on going out for some of the guitars. and the moshpit never lived up to the hype that slayer fans always brag about, sure there was some more violence with idiots fighting but I do not think that is a good thing,i have been in many pits where there was alot more energy and an example would be the last rancid concert I went to had alot more people into the music and moshing then when I saw slayer.

Yep, I've watched many recordings of live shows and this sounds to be spot on with the general performances of these bands.
