Yeah, and the solution given is always more big government socialism and welfare state measures. Yet the problems continue to get worse relating to crime and poverty despite all the government run programs which are supposed to make things better. Or so the public is told.
Reporter Tim Pool, who I first followed with his live streaming from Occupy, left Milwaukee because white people were being targeted for violent actions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJMOWEAAth0
Did y'all see where CNN edited his sister's rant, to show a more positive slant? I apologize if this has been posted already. safe link: CNN edit Here's what CNN reported: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QZNdjEoOHo Here's what she actually said: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_V1_dvOvyI Because weaves.
So I say something someone else posted sounds racist You go on to tell me the word racist is used too much nowadays Then you give me an example of what "real" racism is.
No, I did not see that, but it is hilarious. Quite frankly, I am surprised that CNN didn't air everything she said, since CNN's main objective seems to be riling black people up and promoting the racial divide and conquer agenda the system wants.
You don't really believe that if you had whatever percentage of the police force non white that would so easily fix things do you? Sounds all very Disney, but come on.
This latest incident in Milwaukee involved a black officer, but that didn't stop braindead savages from chanting white power and attacking anyone who's white, all because a black police officer shot a black criminal.
Experts say that it would not matter. The police officers aren't black or white - they are Blue. Remy Cross, a criminologist at Webster University in St. Louis, said the officer's race probably does not matter to many people in the community. "They see the institution as racist, not the individual," Cross said. "Once you put on the uniform, you're blue, and blue sees black as bad." http://www.kare11.com/news/nation-now/milwaukee-riots-spur-second-guessing/299438941
Ugh, those white guys who are speaking and acting black - "Whiggers", as the kids around here call them. I don't know how the black kids stand them. If I were one of those black guys, I would have run them off long ago.
It is a fact that the blacks are under-represented in the police force. And I have read it in the papers myself. It might not easily fix things up, but it might be part of the solution. As Walt Disney said, "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing — that it was all started by a mouse."
Oh, good god damn... Now, the goons are trying to go after the cop that did the shooting. The unrest in Sherman Park after a fatal police shooting Saturday appears to have mostly abated, but the social media communication that helped fuel it has, if anything, intensified and focused on the officer. As of Tuesday, at least 3,000 people have shared a Facebook photo of the 24-year-old Milwaukee patrolman who fatally shot 23-year-old Sylville Smith – some of them adding furious and threatening comments. “Now y'all see his face if he's seen anywhere in the city drop him,” read one post. Another called for a gun so the person could “shoot him right in his head.” http://www.jsonline.com/story/news/crime/2016/08/16/social-media-threats-intensify-focus-officer/88874910/
There are a lot of scholarships out there for low income students of all races I don't really have the time or energy to prove systemic racism exists, particularly not in this thread because i think this particular situation is stupid. Plus I didn't realize it myself from reading a bunch of stats on the internet anyways, I just opened my ears to personal stories
Smith had several run-ins with the law dating to 2013, including speeding, driving without insurance, driving with a suspended license and having open alcohol in a vehicle. In 2013, he was charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing $1,600 worth of DVDs from a Milwaukee Wal-Mart. According to a criminal complaint, Smith and another man were seen removing fans from their boxes and putting the DVDs in the boxes. Prosecutors later dismissed the charge. A year later, he was charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, a misdemeanor. According to court documents, two officers on bike patrol approached Smith and his friends after smelling marijuana in their vehicle and found a loaded .45-caliber pistol under Smith's shirt. Smith pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one day in jail. In early 2015, Smith was charged with reckless endangerment, a felony. Investigators alleged he opened fire on a man in retaliation for the man's role in a fight between some girls weeks earlier. According to a complaint, Smith and the man got into a car chase before the man finally stopped and ran on foot. Smith chased after the man and shot at him. He eluded Smith by hiding behind a house, according to the complaint. As that case was pending, Smith was charged with felony intimidation of a witness — the man he was accused of shooting at. Prosecutors said he had his girlfriend call the man and pressure him to recant. The man did, according to prosecutors, who dropped both cases that year.http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/midwest/ct-milwaukee-police-shooting-victim-20160817-story.html But, his grandfather says he had cognitive and mental health issues.
Milwaukee's Police Chief says it was this group that caused the problems Sunday night (night two). A Chicago-based communist revolutionary group blamed by Milwaukee's police chief for stoking a second day of violence said that some of its members did go there to "support a revolution" but didn't set out to cause trouble. Police chief Ed Flynn said members of a Chicago chapter of the Revolutionary Communist Party turned what had been a peaceful night into a tense one by leading marchers down several blocks at around 11:30 p.m. TV footage showed a small group of protesters walking or running through the streets, sometimes toppling orange construction barriers. "The (communist group) showed up, and actually they're the ones who started to cause problems," Flynn said at a news conference Monday. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/communist-group-members-milwaukee-support-revolution-41408408
The real shame is how readily a small number of instigators were able to turn so many people into a riot. I wonder how many of them actually thought they were part of a "peaceful" protest, right up to the beginning of the riot. They had a front row seat for the escalation and surely saw the people directing the festivities were unknown to them. In a poor community I can see how looting can seem reasonable once the store windows and doors have been destroyed. It's also a great time for settling old scores, gang or passion. The arson is troubling, particularly the fuel stations. At some point a half empty underground tank will be ignored by some clever rioter who knows how to stick a tank. The potential for hideous deaths in large numbers is high. We are also seeing a substantial rise in the use of guns at these "protests". At some point the bullets will find victims in the crowd. Some people will be hit by bullets that have already passed through another person or people, particularly rifle rounds. So what becomes a solution for this? I think we all know the cops aren't going to fade into obscurity. I'm actually surprised a nationwide "perp" witch hunt has not already begun. Just think, we might get south American style "Death Squads" in the near future as cops turn into part-time assassins. I'm sure plenty of folks think the cops are already there, but I'm not talking about rogue lone wolves the rest of the cops ignore. I'm suggesting organized groups who want to destabilize gangs once and for all using the latest shootings as their excuse. As these conflicts escalate I often wonder if both sides ever stop to think they are both racing toward the same cliff.
