-Well thank you for that and you are right -deception is a problem for me. It may have all started that night in San Francisco when I met this beautiful woMAN lol-Ever since I need to know that the person I am talking to is at least the same person they say they are or close to it. The other problem is the idea of some kid coming through here and getting friendly with a man who turns out to not be so nice-happens alot. I know you guys have no way to safegaurd against this but it should be considered. If I had a 13 year old girl would I want her talking online to a middle aged man/-NO-and that is my only real problem with the role playing idea-Yes-I was fooled and yes it mad me mad but the bigger picture was the safety factor-I have no illusions about who is what or what anyone wants to be in this world I would just like to have one place where it is safe and farely secure for people of our age to hang out and yack-As far as the Molly thing consider me through with it-I spoke to Chief and we had a meeting of the minds-I can only hope and pray that Chief does not use this role for any negative personal benifits-It does happen-If I was fooled as well as many others then it would not be much of a leap to think a teen would be easly pulled in-I would enjoy sticking around here if it gets a little more friendly-I also would like to talk to the female SAM as she was at the buriel of the hippy in the Haight as I was-So-anyway thanks and again those were and are my only real concerns and I am done with that "project"-Time for bigger and better things' like removing a madman from his Podeum in Washington-peace-out-Rob-and yes -it's the real one!

I hope you do stick around, this place may seem kinda big and like there are cracks to slip through, but from my experience it's a pretty tight knit community and just like at real world gatherings we all look out for each other.

Life is too short to be mad, be embraced by the Love instead:)

I'm actually a very happy go lucky person-I am not mad at anyone-I just like to meet good honest people and have decent sensible discussions and talk story-You sound like a good downhome soul-I like it-I also read your coming of age as a hippy chick-Good reading and honest-The first wave of hippydom was ended in 67 but thoses of you that caught the freedom bug keep it rockin-rock on-let freedom ring and let there be peace in the valley! We may have buried the hippy but the ideals of peace and love will never be buried-

    heya POD & Rob,

y'know one of the things I been noticin about as you get older (not saying any of us are old yet - though sometimes the joints tell us we are not quite so young as we think) - is that the doers Need something to do - need to feel needed so to speak - without that, we just kinda wind down and the clockwork gets gummed up.
Energy your way for both of you - health is only as important as the tasks in front of you - so it behooves us to make them at least big in our own mind.
POD , you are very needed doing the kind of work you are planning in Haiti - but you are not Doing it in the Now - and that is what our psyche/subconscious ... the programs work on the Now. Any chance you can get down there sooner rather than later - sometimes we put things off till we are ready - sometimes that signal translates into when we are done - uh o.......

Winters are but another wonderful season ... I'm out alot and in Nature all the time - both isolated with a steep 2 mile driveway and driving the back roads for 5>7 hrs ea. nite delivering the god blessed paper to those who don't know how to peck at a keyboard and have it all on the screen in front of you for free (oops that's how I make my livin shhh).
Tend to be a bit of a hermit and love the going inside the winter helps favilitate. It's like - I Looove to drive all the way up to the living site.... but when I have to park down at the bottom (good gas car the Geo Metro. but ain't so great in the snow) and walk up I love the walk up and am so thankful for existence.
That and trying to keep thr drive open (have a N.facing steep incline that once she gets thick ice on her....) tend to keep me out and about and the ##@*% shop is not built yet so I pray the vehicles stay running through the cold and blow - and boy do we get blow ooowhee.

And then everyonce in a while - ahh thankfully seldom - I tend to get a bit communicative and blah de blah de blah - sorry for the cauliflower ear.

Y'all have a great one - o and went to 2 big music fests (not coutin the small get together country jams that abound in the country) and Dillon was not one of them (Seatrain & Airplane); and valuing my hearing will probably not go to any in the future - but we did plan at 1 point doing a fest/gathering w music here in the hollow.....who knows.

peace and good cheer - sheeit it could be muuuuch worse

    Love ya.

Namaste (my spirit bows to your spirit)

Good stuff bro-We see snow here for a minute or two every few years-nothing really-Right now it is cold and all eyes are on the rescue up on Mt. Hood-Everyones trying to find the3 hikers but they are probably too late-Its day 7 out there-Makes my feel grateful and happy to be home-I have trucked in and out of New York and New Jersey but just could.nt handle the cold-It comes from growing up in Kaliforincate-I did go to the Sam site-thanks-sorry I missed her-she sounded very real and downhome women-I just (finally) quit the Oregonian paper last week after coming to the same conclusion you spoke of-why pay for news twice? duh-One last thing-I had my left knee replaced last year and it hurt and I hate pain-But then last night on the Discovery Channel I see this guy with both legs missing-climb to the sumit of Everest!-He is the very first person with no legs to achieve that-Somehow my knee feels better!-it's all in the way we look at things-either with a positive eyeball or a negative-AH-The wonders of the brain-whata magnificent instrument-(when not tampered with-lol)-thanks for the Sam message-Rob

"-obeiscances"-ya got me there as me and Mr. Webster have never heard the word-The thread was no prank-The initial part about the she/male deception was an intentional joke-not to be taken serious-Like I said; I grew up in the drag queen capitol of the world and you get good at figuring out who's who-OK-The rest of what I have said was exactly how I feel about the whole honest and deception issue-I harbour no ill will towards you as a man or whatever-I just don't personally agree with the idea-just because of the safety factor. I said I would not speak to you again as a little girl but I do see you changed the handle somewhat to be a little more visible-good-progress!-Soon you will be the man you once were and we can go to a game or somethin-lol-Anyway-I'm gonna do what George Bush and his lackies find so hard to do-That is ;use diplomacy and call a truce to this thing and say Merry Xmas-Rob

I'd like to make a complaint, because I feel lied to.

I really felt bad for you ROB and the trauma you said you went through!! I said prayers for you and sent you good vibes hoping that you could heal wholly and be able to forgive.

    WTF man??! I believed you.
Making people feel bad so you can play a joke is not cool.

Did'nt your mom ever tell you 'if you're the only one laughing it's not funny?'
