A-men brother, another thing money wont buy is true love and and true friendship. It would become harder too trust people as the world is full of people waiting to take advantage. Also the more you have the more you have to lose.
Money does not just buy things, it buys freedom, time and peace of mind. Really? Without money you can have a family but it will be unhappy one Without money you cannot befriend anyone unless they are moneyless like you
I think if you're a happy person, attaining money will increase the happiness you already have but that if you are an unhappy person getting money may give you a false and superficial sense of happiness but that it will not last... I think joy is something that must have it's roots from inside yourself, then you can allow yourself to really enjoy the things and people around you...
I'm friends with people from a multitude of classes, from poor university students to people living off min wage to someone attending Harvard with no student loans to pay off her fees. Money doesn't play a very big part on our friendship since it's not like I have to pay an entry fee to get into their house or hang out at a park with them.
Sorry man, but I disagree with all your points except for the peace of mind part (but only some cases, sometimes will make your mind worse). I don't see how money buys freedom, unless your paying bail. A poor man in America has the same rights as a Rich man. My family is perfectly happy. Struggling family=/=unhappy family. My family is a perfectly and we've been struggling for years. My best friends have more money than me, a lot more money than me.
That last part of his post bothered me too. I have rich friends and poor(er) friends and the only time money comes up is when we are fucking around or drunk.
