yep. you'd have 512 to 768 unless your current 256 is small sticks that take up all the slots...

 

that'd make things run smoother, correct? like my game? i also need that video card, that'd cost about 40-50 right?

do you know what kind of prosseser (CPU) you have. or the front side bus speed. this is quite important in choosing ram


i can only really help if its an AMD based system. I dont pay much atention to Intell.

 

no, they're only 40. they ones at the store are only 40, there was one for 400, i doubt they'd sell one part of a computer for almost as much as an entire computer
