Hey, that scene is also in the video to Skinny Puppy's "Worlock", which was made out of hundreds of short clips from old horror movie outtakes etc. Hence it was too disturbing to be aired anywhere... Good trick with the eggshell there, looks disturbingly real in normal speed.
requiem for a dream or kids. both pretty messed up. they both showed examples of some disgustong youth lifestyles
I know the feeling about being a King reader right before bed (point of advice, don't do that with 1408 short story). Nightmare- he's the least slasher of the slashers of that time, makes his killings like they were jokes, and KILLS WHILE YOU SLEEP!! The movie IT sucked. REad the book.
god, yes. I have a low violence threshold (it needs to have MAJOR relevance to the plot) and that and Monster (the female serial killer) kept me creeped put for days. Weirdest disturbing movie in the past few months (rental ) was Believer: about a "nice yeshiva boy" who rebels against g-d and joins a neo nazi skinhead group. based on the story of a KKK member in 64-65 who was "outed" as a Jew by the NY Times who killed himself.
Dogville did'nt sleep for 3 days or properaly for while afterwords. I would have stoped watching it but it was my self and 15 friends and they were'nt botherid by it at all. I was so relived when the film ended. the way the film ended didn't do much to improve matters(maybe a little)
Any Terry Gilliam film (Brazil, Fisher King, etc). But they're so good I watch them anyway. On the other hand, I was recently emotionally scarred for life after seeing "House of Sand and Fog".
I'm gonna have to go with Stephen King's Sleepwalkers. I have watched this once, and once only. I love animals, and that part at the end nearly made me sick. Not really scary, but more like unnecessary cruelty.
The Robert Altman movie 'Streamers' starring Matthew Modine and Michael Wright, and the movie 'Auditions' h
I hear gummo will mess you up, haven't seen it though, I eventually plan on watching 24 hours of films that will utterly screw up my psyche, sleep for ten hours and watch ten hours of super happy movies (first half of sound of music stuff like that, no conflict)
i just watched requiem for a dream for the first time... that was pretty shitted out. my best friend locked herself in the bathroom crying after it finished and wouldnt come out for half an hour. shes sleeping now... but yeh i think that takes the cake...
I have to go with Bad Santa... Dont get me wrong I was laughing during the movie. But afterwards felt really bad that I was laughing.
The movie 'Rosewood' because it really happened The movie 'Nightbreed' and the movie 'Freaks' because the cast was actually made up of well known carnival freak of the time h
If you can't bear the sight of injuries, I recommend you not watching the real thing, if you ever get across videos from Iraq, or something similar. They pop up on discussion forums from time to time, and just by a few clicks, you will see lots of blood and dead people, and hear screaming in the background. I've watched some real executions, and it's not a pretty site. Just a few months ago a video was out.. It was the beheading of Nick Berg. Anyways, yeah I agree with you, Saving Private Ryan was a strong movie.
hippychrome, The destruction of Midian was pretty good and Charles Haid (of Altered States fame) was perfect as Captain Eigerman....but the movie was still quite disturbing h
Nah, Nightbreed are goodies really lol. I have comics where they mixed nightbreed and hellraiser and they had 1 heck of a fight etc, but the real hell is hellraiser lol. You'll have to get the special comics to understand
