I have an unhealthy obsession. And for all the haters, yes, I know he was possibly gay.

 

Are you saying that a male can't be gay and handsome? Or are you saying you can't have an obsession for a gay man ?

 

Not at all, it just seems that whenever I tell someone I have a thing for James Dean the first thing out of their mouth is "You know he was gay, right?"

I think it is stupid that people define him with that. I don't care if he's gay, bi, or transexual, I think he was hot and I wish I was around back in the early 50's.

BTW - I got to sit behind the wheel of the car he drove in high school. It is in cherry shape sitting in a garage in Fairmount, IN. Yes, I got a tour of the farm he grew up on, saw his grave, everything. I am obsessed. :sunglasse

 

Then when you come to Los Angeles you must make a point of seeing his bust at the Griffith Park and Observatory.

IMHO Mr Richard Crenna started out quite handsome and remained that way 'til the end. He got to play a love interest of Tyne Daly in the television show JUDGING AMY. Not too shabby for a geriatric actor !
