ah, yes... hollywood! she belives she is a fine upstanding lady of the best quality. hollywood is really, a dirty disease ridden junkie-whore... the lowest of all low-life. she will make a star or, even a super-star of you and, in return you sell your soul to her for damnation in the end.
Paris Hilton hands down. Mostly because she HASN'T DONE ANYTHING TO MAKE HER FAMOUS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know its annoying how people can actually become famous without a real cause or talent. Just as long as a camera like their face they are famous, I guess Hollywood doesn't like people that is really talented and hard working. Its funny because the best actors/celebs are the most underrated one while the shitty ones get all of the attention.
Scarlett Johansson. I was also deeply offended when she released a cover album of Tom Waits songs... The horror.
I disagree. I think J LO is a MUCH better actress than she is a singer/performer. She did a wonderful job playing Selena and also did a good job in The Cell. I think the reason she has a bad image is simply because of the dumb romantic comedies she chooses to do. I think Johnny Depp is definitely up there. And Jennifer Aniston- can't stand her!
People are getting confused with 'most overrated' and 'people they don't like' saying Paris Hilton would imply people actually thought she was any good. The most overrated actor in Hollywood, critically, publicly and narcissistically speaking is Will Smith. That's my opinion, anyways. He tried to do a 'Castaway' with 'I am Legend' and failed at is miserably.
Hmm, I definitely don't think he failed miserably. In fact, I believed in his performance for I am Legend.
Actually 'I am Legend' was a remake of a Vincent Price movie from 1964 called, 'The Last Man on Earth.' So if anything, it should be compared to that original.
I am Legend might just be a bad movie. I've seen quite a few decent Will Smith movies. He was good in: 7 pounds, Pursuit of happyness...and, er...iRobot I did once think he was over-rated but he's kinda stopped being the type of character he played in Indy' Day...his 90s characters, basically. Now he's more mature and calm. Seems like a nice fella. For me it is Tom Cruise - obvious, eh? Well, I like his films but I cringe when he goes all method...he can't do it.
I was talking about acting roles, because Will Smith is not in the original and anyways, i've not seen the original, only read the book. But if we had to compare them, the guy wasn't even black, or American. So it's shit. Will Jesus Smith is shit. And his wife is a lesbian, so I win.
Please don't, because we're talking about the actors. Both films are a 'one man show case', and though the premises are completely different, that does not change. Tom Hank was nominated for an Academy Award, he was engaging. Will Smith bored the hell into me, and the remake was rubbish anyways if we are going to talk about the actual film
