on the other hand , if i do blab forth sagatiously , and have a perspicatious and pertainant point ......its not taken ......as are the jests .
i think they call it sarcasim. in the real world there is also body language and facial expressions also which help stop confusion...
Yes! I'm the same way. Most recently I was joking around with someone and I said in a serious tone "Quit judging me with your eyes" and they got all defensive "What? I wasn't! God, lighten up!" Yeah, you're tellin' me... It can sometimes be a bit of an inconvenience because I will think someone is joking when they are really dead serious.
I know how you feel Laety. People also tend to not understand my humour at times, especially on this forum. I can be fairy cynical, but it is usually justified, and is never too critical, yet people always accept it as critical and directed at them personally when it's not. The smarter people understand and appriciate it... Do not change yourself to suit others, you are a wonderful person
Brits would understand you. That is how they have been for a long time. Well most of them. Online it is more difficult. No one undertands my sarcasm on line. But then I don't make it very easy.
Why would you care if I thought you were a weirdo? I might call you a weird just to feel better about myself. Like dozens of people have called me a weirdo. No, I don't think your a weirdo, if you don't think I am one.
