The Passion of The Christ. Although I usually love torture porn.

I agree with Citizen Cane. Million Dollar Baby.

There are a bunch bunch more which I feel are overrated. But these are some 'classics' I'd never be able to sit through again.

Brokeback Anus, i mean mountain. the only reason why so many people went crazy over this movie is because the cowboys happened to be gay.

If I were tied down ala A Clockwork Orange and forced to watch that cloying piece of shit again, I would bite off my tongue in hopes it would get lodged in my windpipe and put me out of my misery. Aw, sweet death.

Pretty much all high-school comedies ever made.

    except Ferris Bueller's day off.

I'd agree but I also liked Mean Girls and Ghost World, which was one of my favorite movies of all time.

I've seen neither...but I will look out for them now.

I tend to avoid almost every movie that promotes itself as a comedy. They're shit!

    E.T.
    King Kong (2005 version)
    Most of Steven Spielbergs movies.
    I, Robot
    Troy
One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest
    Titanic
    Home Alone
    Top Gun
    and so on

By the way though, Citizen Cane was never really a popular movie, it failed at the box office when it came out. The only people that ever really appreciated it were the critics, other filmmakers and film scholars, especially for its innovative technical achievements. Kinda like "Finnegan's Wake" in literature.

i though the first stargate movie was a big overpriced dissappointment. but mostly i haven't very many times in my life gone that often to movies, and since i pretty much assume anything mainstream is going to be boring crap, unless it's got a lot of naked bodies in it, and even then, i really haven't unintentionally paid to see any other real turkeys i can think of other then that stupid stargate thing. i though even krull was better then that.

i still haven't actually sat down in a movie house since the first men in black, which i though was pretty cool. i've rented a few since then, and the local library has some i've barowed, but its not that often i even do that. anything in the last few years, well i haven't even seen most of those, even on tape/dvd.

i think the most recently released thing i've seen was ice age, again the first one, which i thought was great, but would have been even better without any humans in it.

come to think of it, i was dissappointed by like water for chocklet too, i'm not sure what i was expecting, but whatever it was, it wasn't.

i mean the idea behind the story sounded great as a concept, but the settings were all too what i would consider mundane.

we had a friend who brought over a couple of others like that, but i don't remember what they were called.

i love things like railfan tapes, and of course well done effects based on REAL sciffy.

How or why could you hate this movie?

There is no accounting for taste, I suppose.

I thought the first one was tolerable, but very overrated. I really despised the second movie, and I have no desire at all to watch the third one.
