Moving In

I don't really have any advice to offer you guys because the way I see it is, every couple is different so just go with the flow and see what works for you. I just wanted to say many congratulations and best of luck to both of you!

You can let her fix up the place the way SHE likes...so it feels like her place..and not like shes moving into YOUR place....good luck baby !!!

 

keep the toilet seat up... that way when she goes to use it, it will be clean

I did that when I was living with my (now ex-) GF... she got up to use the toilet overnight; didn't turn on lights to be considerate and wound up bathing her cheeks. Needless to say I wound up in the proverbial doghouse.

 

My husband (and our sons, for that matter) rarely forget to put the toilet seat down for my daughter and I, but I too, have had an occasional toilet water booty bath.

The thing I have to drill over and over and over into my husband's head is, when you leave a room, turn the stinking light off! We've been together, what, 11 years and it still hasn't sunk in? But I know where he gets it from. His parents! They're the exact same way!

while i have no experience moving in with my gf or something, i have moved into a dorm wiht new people, twice - so my best advice is dont' sweat the small things, theres a bigger picture out there.

 

I just had a long talk with Kari a few minutes ago our plan now is to see if we can move in with her mom and her sisters for a month or two in Summerville, SC until we find a place of our own and get settled. I don't want her to have to move down here to GA away from her sisters, because she loves them to death. Also, this would be a good way for me to get to know her family, none of whom I have met yet, and for them to become comfortable with me being with Kari, because they are worried that I am gonna treat her badly and I want to prove to them that I would never disprespect her in any way. I really want their approval, especially Kari's mom's approval. My only worry is that I won't have any money saved up by that time.

 

Well, all I can say is, when your done banging her, dont roll over right away and play nintendo. Down fall of all relationships.

 

Shit dude, she plays more PS2 than I do. We're gonna be some love-makin, video-gamin, weed-smokin mofo's.

!!!!!! Well your set then MY ex played more ninendos than me, its just the only time I felt like playing was after mackin it haha. Its happening to my cousin right now too, he said his girl got pissed because he tapped that and then turned on PS2 and started playing Final Fantasy 12 while she was trying to snuggle and go to sleep. Bwahahaha hes the man yo, you would love him
