Am I really here? Yea I guess I am but I come and go and don't think about this place at all when I'm not here. I come here to kill time only when I'm trying to get from say,6:30 to 8 pm... in any case, I shall be checking that other place soon if you do go! Oh and I don't know if I'll move on again like before... or stay... I probably won't say anything if I leave or even think it out beforehand. Just leave on day, a month will pass, then two and less and less reason to come back.... There used to be reasons. Now it's really habit w.out reason...

It seems that there are only so many forums that are: 1. Free 2. General discussion forums 3. More-or-less free speech 4. At least moderately active and 5. That at least make a fairly strong statement about protecting anonymity. I'm sure there's some other good forums on the internet, but I don't need much encouragement to waste any more time online than I do already.
this train moved on so many time it may be in its last station now. as far as places in the real world. moved from roseville cali to sparks nv about a year and a half ago. almost two years already i think. i was in the valley over there way longer then i had ever wished or planned to. but that was because my parents were old and there and then my wife who didn't want to leave. and then she kicked off and my mom six months later and then my retirement started coming in, which was great but i was spending it too fast to stay there. as for places on the net. f.a. is my main one, where i post my art. i come by here every once in a while because i've been here since forever and its free.
ftr I've been away the last few days because I'm having trouble with my PC (NTLDR is missing) and my phone has been sold (long boring story)...
At this rate, I expect it will be around mid June when you log in to the other place I think that's the point...I don't want to use this place to fill in time, and the place isn't at the top of my thoughts when not here...but It isn't totally forgotten. I do find it funny that you sent me a message about logging into the other place, you know, whenever. That made me feel really special

It's not a long story, just a boring one. I had a 5" mobile which was working fine - until I dropped it. After that the front camera didn't work so well, and the back case didn't fit/kept falling off. It was usable, though. I like taking pictures, so was a bit annoyed at not being able to capture things that interested me as I went about my daily life. Fate stepped! - I had a tax rebate of £1300. So I went ahead and bought a better spec'//better quality 6" smartphone (a whole inch bigger!). Happy with my purchase I awaited delivery. And waited. And waited. In the meantime (thinking I was going to get my new phone imminently) I sold my old phone on ebay. I then checked my purchase details (of my new phone) and found: Order placed on: Sunday, 30 Mar. 2014 Delivery: 15 Apr - Tuesday, 6 May I sold my other phone around the 7th of April. So now I'm in limbo.
Ha I see, yeah that's a drag So if that phone didn't arrive yet I take it your PC is fixed again :2thumbsup:

It's just finished being fixed. I'm using an internet cafe. I'm not too happy with the way he went about fixing/tuning my PC - rather slap dash. But It seems to be working ok now.
Damn, he better be cheap then! How's the internet cafe working out? Can't remember the last time I was in one (is it fun, or cosy and a bit social? Do they have good coffee? Or is it just a practical thing for people without a computer...)
Gyro Gearloose Thanks for the thought, but I do have a phone! I found a nokia 6700 c-1 on the bus the other day. I would have taken it to lost property but it looked as if it had been abandoned rather than lost. You just can't get any credible internet access on it. This post would have taken me six weeks to complete. True story.
It cost £25 - which is borderline offensive. He got it fixed ok so I can't complain too much. It's just not having any little spares - such as screws, and not willing to put things back in because it would have meant having to remove the motherboard. All things I can do myself. But I would have thought good customer service meant he would do these things. Apparently not. The Internet cafe is ok. The computers are rubbish. Not maintained. Keep crashing. I rarely use them these days. Not really. Not really. Not really. There is a half decent Polish woman sitting next to me - but she's probably married with a couple of kids. When I say 'cafe' I mean it in the most loosest of the term 'cafe' - Infact, it's not really a cafe at all. It's more of a phone shop with Internet access. So no coffee - just the Fanta I bought from next door.
I really get a lot out of Hip forums.But if it it suddenly died and went off the web I would get over it pretty quick.When something is simply not available,I get over over it pretty quick. The same principle applies to love affairs.It is the availability of things which causes the problems for me.
