That's what happens when you're discussing finances while posting. I had to delete a line about auto repairs before I made the original post.

 

I worked for a mostly african american company and board that paid me good money to help develop a program to train staff how to bring differenct ethnic groups together. I also worked with inner city youth for most of my career.
I just know what worked in decreasing racial tension and violence and brought kids and families and neighborhoods together. I know what has worked for me. There might be different things that work for you, or we may have encountered different segments of different populations. I don't know what to say? Sounds like we have different views.

 

So you're saying that some of the people you have encountered DON'T want to just be treated like people?

Everyone I've encountered doesn't want to be treated liked just 'people', but unique and valued people.
