Great points. My goal is to be evolved enough by the time I'm 80 to not worry about what my wrinkles, holes and scars look like, and instead to be able to look at these marks and recall a full, happy life.
See, the funny thing here is- when I'm 80, everyone else who is my age will be tattooed & pierced as well. Imagine a whole generation of wrinkly people with wrinkly ink & holes! I hate it too when people ask me how I'll feel when I'm old, but the fact is, there will be a lot of us, & I can't wait for the conversation over tea about stool softener & why Muriel has a butterfly just over her buttcrack. Plus, as elementary as it sounds, with so many of us inked up, there's bound to be a few who figured out a less expensive & painful way of removing tattoes. That's all. xoxo cortnee
it, if when you were seven and you had the oppurtunity to change your body permanently, would you be very happy with the muppet tattoo on your forearm when you were 21 and applying for a job?[/QUOTE] hahaha.. i lookd a lot older than my age wen i was yonger.. and i almost decided to get a winnie the poo tattoo.. i cant even imagine why!!!! lol.. must say im quite glad that i dont now have such at the top of my arm yikes!! ..i quite like this pixie ears thingi tho..that sounds intresting..im sure myb i heard og this b4.. does sound v painful tho.. i suppose if it isnt so dramatic ..when ur say 50 with little pointies it'l be a light of humour in memorial to your youth .. will implement som good farie stories for grankiddies.. oo
You know, my great grandfather's ear was like that. But his was that way because he got skin cancer and had to have part of his ear removed. poor guy.
well i know alot of people with the stuff i do who have extreme body mods...painful yes...worth it yes....its all about how you feel about yourself and your hight of self esteem which will deem whether or not u could pull something like that off.....
I know a couple peopel with more extreme body mods... it is painful getting such stuff done, definately worth it from what i hear from all of them, they knew thats what they wanted and did it and feel better about doing it. Such extreme mods though have very large chance of problems in the future, like filed teeth and early teeth rot and decay, or certain types of implants over time can errode and have to be removed, and such. I say if you feel thats what you want done and know the conciquences to these things, more power to ya buddy, go for the gold..... and shit, if you really dont like it years down the line, surgeons these days can fix just about anything
