I honestly dont think its a big deal.. and i try never to judge people on what they do with thier time if they feel it makes them happy. So i suggest you try not to be so judgemental on a guys hobbies and if its that big a deal breakup.

I felt awful backing her into a corner during the biggest of our arguments over my internet activities, but she conceded that, 13 years older than me, she belongs in a different era, but that she'll not be able to change who she is. Neither can she find a reason why it's wrong for me to find gratification/beauty wherever I wish to look for it..

My current man admitted to having an addiction. He claims it makes him feel like a nasty perv. He'd never been in healthy relationship with a woman before.
His ex was older than him by eleven years. She treated him like her chewtoy. He was angry about that, & other issues related to women. Porn was kind of like stealing candy. It allowed him power over the opposite sex.
Porn only exists to sell more porn when you think about it in a marketing aspect. It really isn't any kind of relationship aid. Generally speaking, it isn't often used to help people in the sack either. I do believe it has helped in breaking some taboos. Other than that, it is essentially a means of purchasing sex without risking disease.
A bit off topic, but..I still think prostitution should be legalized, & regulated nationwide. It'd be safer for the public.
Normally, a little porn is fine with me. I've even owned my own. I never hid it from my mate. He was hiding his from me. That's how I was able to really believe what he told me. It adds up.
He hasn't been using it. He wasn't very good at hiding things. We have managed to truly open the lines of communication between us. There are no taboos as far as discussing things goes in this house.
I think that you two probably should try talking it out more. Maybe you can try examining the how's and why's of porn, & why you don't like it. Or, what it is about the way he uses it that you don't like.
Even if this relationship is over, this issue won't likely go away. You will probably be confronting it again in the future. I'd save myself the trouble, & answer the tough questions for myself now, if I were you.
My biggest problem with porn is the age factor. It is disgusting to me to see a seventy something year old grandfather jerking off to a barely legal mag.
But, that's just me.
