I think there are elements of great truth here... meds for social disorders... and it seems that a persona quirk or uncommonly high energy levels and being able to think independently are seem as diagnosable social or mental disorders. I also think some may be turning to prescribed drugs instead of cultivating coping skills the old fashioned way. there are times when drugs are called for and I believe Heat put it quite nicely.

I suspect some drugs work for anger because they compromise the brain's ability to process data that tends to piss the person off.... hence the feeling of being stupid.

 

Maybe I'll try that next time...
