im not telling you what to think, im telling you what i think. i could care less if you like them or not. just my opinions. peace be with u. Besides, the more women who are in love with my chemical romance, the more pussy I get, sense I look like gerard way, supposidly.
I second that.. If something sounds good to you, don't be afraid to like it.. It's just stupid to not listen to music that's 'not worthy' cause you're missing out that way.. And I know.. I was like you when I was 18 too.. But I know better now.. And I'm not afraid to say that I even like Christina Aguilera
Oh for God's sake, they're not emo. They're rock or fucking post hardcore. Not that there's anything wrong with emo.
POST HARDCORE?! what planet are you living on?! MCR suck, mediocre at best NOT THAT THERES ANYTHING WRONG WITH EMO!?!? oh my goodness, emo is the lowest form of rock and roll, its dull, whiny, shitty and has spawned emo kids, which are the bane of my existence
I'm living on this planet, where it's not fucking emo. -.-' And maybe post hardcore was the wrong way to describe it, but it ain't emo hun. And there isn't anything fucking wrong with emo. Just because you don't bloody like it that doesn't mean there's anything friggin' wrong with it. GEEZ GET A FUCKING OPEN MIND.
MCR is not hardcore.... In fact, I would go as far as to say there hasnt been a hardcore band on MTV... EVER! you should not use my chemical romance and hardcore in the same sentence, for that is unnatural. MCR is that type of bland, corporate emo that has been spawned sense Dashboard Confessionals. To call it anything but that kind of emo is ludacriz. New emo that appears on MTV = what you described Example: MCR, Dashboard Confessionals, Finch, Juliana Theory The kind of emo that most emo kids listen to = old from 90s and 80, emotional hardcore... basically started when Minor Threat split up to form Embrace (which is also early sxe). Example: Embrace, Rites of Spring, Gray Matter, Ignition, Dag Nasty, Monsula, Samiam, Jawbreaker, Clikatat Ikatowi, Maximillian Colby, Mohinder, Saetia, La Mantra De Fehqira The whining didn't really come till it became glamorized and the music in control of the record labels instead of the musicians... and bands started showing up on MTV with music videos of them crying.
I already admitted that post hardcore was a bad judgement. I still wouldn't class them as emo, in any form.
Sooner or later you must admit that they are the new talentless emo which has spawned. There only popular song is "im not okay" how much more freaking emo can you get? And gerard wears makeup that makes him look extra sad (his record label probably told him to do that)
