My dad is selling this car

    yea he did put an ad in the paper, but this isn't the right time of year.

    I wasn't really looking to sell on here, just showing you guys. :)

    I like the older body styles better too.

    i dont care what the book value is for it.. try getting book value for any car selling it used.. not as easy as you think..

    i personally wouldnt give more than 4500 for it.. and it would have to be in damn good shape all the way through the drive train and suspension etc..

    i was thinking the same thing but didnt want to say it.but im a pontiac person to the core.only chevy product i will own is a truck for playing around in.and only truck i will own for a work truck or to beat the snot out of is a ford diesel.

    5800 is a decent price for that car.when looking for an older/collector car 4500 will get you nothing but a rotted to death heap thats missing tons of parts.check out my webshots link i posted and look at the 66 grand prix album.you wont touch that car for less than 8,000.00 unless you get lucky.i actually found one on craigslist for 3,000.00 that i may go buy just to flip it and make a few grand on it.

    that is totally false.. if one shops around there are ALWAYS deals to be had..(note your own statement about the car on craigslist)

    just because you choose to pay market value for your vehicles does not mean everyone does.. a educated and patient buyer can ALWAYS find a deal..
