my daughter's school is offering a forensic science class

how far away from your house is it?

Its 10 miles for me but driving through the city at that time of the morning...it takes 25 minutes to get there.

Its good that Arianna loves school so much. But sometimes she is a pain in the ass to wake up in the morning. How about Kai? When does yours go to sleep? Arianna is such a night owl that she will be in her bed drawing picks and writing stories until 11 at night sometimes.

 

it's an hour, round trip, for me. kai is okay getting up, a bit slow. she's not a morning person, either. sometimes she'll be in the shower, and dave will tell her it's time to get out, and she's just sitting in the shower in a stupor. we put her to bed around 8:30. on gymnastics nights she usually falls alseep very fast.

 

Thats when I put her in bed too....but that little moonchild is active.

I'm thinking about putting arianna in gymnastics.

 

it's awesome stuff. i wanna put kai in music. there's loads of guitar classes available at her school. i could shuffle her gym schedule around. she's in there 6 hours a week, tuesdays and thursdays. a once a week guitar class would probably be cool for now.

 

lol...arianna wants to learn guitar too.

I think our children would be wonderful friends.

 

my little girl is such a different child than i was. i was eating some kung pao chicken, and she gets in my face, nose in my bowl of food and says eagerly "is that tofu?" i had to tell her, no. half the time she orders the vegetarian lunches rather than the meat ones. the problem is, the days she eats vegetarian leave her STARVING after school, which is bad when she has gymnastics. so i have to feed her a whole extra lunch in 15 minutes.

 

Arianna was a vegetarian for a while until my brother took her out to a waffle house and he had bacon. That's when the change took place.

Funny how she decided to be one. Her dad taught her to say "I smell Bacon" whenever she saw a cop. So then one day she asked why...so I had to tell her about pigs and bacon coming from pigs and such. She decided no more meat for her.

 

oh, kai eats meat. she just blessedly enjoys a change from time to time. lucky kiddo.

 

Now thats something I would have joined. forensic science, how cool.

 

Its really interesting. I took forensic medicine last year. It was pretty cool.
