My doctor said I need to lose weight

    Well, women can have a little extra weight on them and still look good. However, there is a point when curvy is no longer curvy and becomes simply fat.

    At the same time, men don't accomodate extra weight as well as women do.

    I'm sure that you can drop the weight, I've lost a ton of fat within the past two weeks just by not snacking at all. I was (am) a cookie monster and now that I'm not eating them I'm working off all of the fat that I had gained around my belly. I think drinking all the green tea I drink helps too.

    I totally disagree. I like guys with a little something to hold onto.
    Yeah, I think I am passing the curvy and slowly entering into the fat zone. It's scary. I don't like to feel out of control and certainly don't want my body to advertise to the world that I am.
    I just have the worst sweet tooth.

    heres a wicked good snack

    good protein, good fiber, good fats - and tastes awesome:

    1/2 cup canned Pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix….PLAIN pumpkin)
    1/2 cup cottage cheese (for those who don’t like the lumpy texture, you can use a hand mixer to puree the cottage cheese)
    1/2-1 scoop of favorite vanilla protein powder
    1 oz (handful) of crushed walnuts
    2-4 shakes of ground cinnamon

    A study published in the November 2003 issue of The Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture found that broccoli "zapped" in the microwave with a little water lost up to 97 percent of the beneficial antioxidant chemicals it contains. By comparison, steamed broccoli lost 11 percent or fewer of its antioxidants.

    I suggest stopping all dairy for a couple months.No milk,cheese,etc.It should rid your system of mucus,which can be quite a bit.It sure helped me.

    I think that's too extreme for me. I am just goign to try and do this the normal way. My problem stems from growing up vegan and not learning how to eat like a normal person and eating because I subconciously want to put fat on so people won't find me attractive.

    I find that i don't care what my doctor says haha....when my mother tells me i need to lose weight on the other hand...i'll starve myself for a week hahaha

    ew! I saw that on '1000 ways to die' and I was so disgusted. I felt very creeped out after that show.
