I know my dreads are starting to really tighten in places, and I can even wear them down now without feeling like a crazy homeless man....not that theres anything wrong with crazy homeless men or anything...theyre great....smelly...but needed to balance things out I suppose...I wish they wouldnt ask me for money sometimes....but anywho...enough of the homeless man tangent...back to my dreads....Yay Dreads! I love em =]

yipee! Thanks for the kind words. They are starting to feel like real dreads now...its nice. 5 months of patience is starting to pay off. I just keep thinking about 5 months from now....oh they'll be glorious! Its kinda scary though cuz some are shrinking big time, and I have a couple that want to fold up on themselves....if they do it....theyll be super short...and I mean super short! Yikes...but its all part of the journey I suppose.

 

5 months...these were a couple weeks ago...im at 51/2 now. Ill post more at the 6 month mark!

Hey mandyland, that is a sweet drum behind your kiddo in that last pic, i bet it sounds really nice?

 

yep I have a tumor in the first pic thats about 5 years old and shy from showing its face. =] Lux...yours are so much cooler though! I never have time to decorate my dreadies and make em look pretty like...plus they're short so theres not much to do with them really! Any yes old growth...I have a couple drums. They all get pretty good sound, especially when down by the river...I love drumming...cant wait for summer to roll along!

 

I think your hair looks awesome!! I think at ten months they will be gorgeous just like you are predicting. Thanks for the pics.
