Bonaroo is basically.. lets weed out all the peace loving hippies by pulling them over and harassing them so all the collar popping dood-brahs can bring in their jager and bud light.. get women drunk and take advantage of them whilst listening to crappy music
Exactly!!!!! This is why I decided not to go this year for the first time since 2004. The police presence has gotten worse and worse every year plus the people have gotten more shady every year, definetley has moved away from my scene. And this happened after he was already inside bonnaroo on the way to his parking spot. The cops were randomly pulling people to the side to do a quick search and they found a small piece of bud or something and then proceeded to search hardcore. Last year they had cops in plain cars driving thru shakedown st and when they saw people huddled around they would jump out of there car to try and bust them. He was trying to decide between going to bonnaroo and Dexfest. I tried to convince him to go to dexfest, but he decided to go to Bonnaroo
wow so many get busted. i am about to get my license for the first time, and I am so afraid I will do something stupid while driving, hence why I wont be carrying in a vehicle for a long time. that is really a sucky situation. *op *hugs*
I got busted in 2007 and my license was suspended. I STILL don't have my license back, and that was only 7g of Mary. Cops suck asscrack
i feel you there, brother. im working on getting a hardship license right now, but my probation officer doesn't want to make it easy.
yeah its a license, not a permit... but it is only valid for 12 hours a day. to get to and from work or school. its kinda fucked if you think about it, because i have to work and go to school which means i have obligations from about 8am to 7pm everyday of the week, add commuting time and thats like 13 hours that i need to be mobile. and they dont give 13 hour licenses, nor can i be an hour late for class or leave an hour early from either work or class. grrrr frustration
Sounds a bit like making it easy may be out of you P.O.'s hands. How feasible is it for you to relocate to some place a little closer to either school or work? I hesitate to suggest looking for another job because new ones are in short supply these days... I'm just wondering if your circumstances couldn't be changed to better accommodate the situation.... and yes- it occurs to me that you very likely have already looked into this and may be in the best possible position already. Just disregard this in that case.
Well shit, it's better than nothing. I can't even get a hardship license or a "work permit", as it's called in GA, since my license was suspended for a drug charge.
my PO isn't making it easy because she isn't drug testing me... and i need 3 drug tests within the preceding 3 months of applying for a license. its not really the job, its class. and it isn't right now, but i'm thinking ahead to the fall where i will have an 8am class and a 1pm class which ends at 6:30. if i get a 7 to 7 license i have only 30 minutes to get home in rush hour traffic and i dont think they give out 7:15 to 7:15 licenses(which would give me 45minutes both ways).
damn that sucks, mine was suspended for a drug charge, but i've served 50% of my probation so i can get one if i meet all the other conditions.
Still, I'm sure you can get away with it. It would be incredibly assholish, even for a cop, to bust you because you're a few minutes late in getting home after work/class, when your schedule obviously conflicts with your driving privileges. Still, I wouldn't put it past most cops. lol
That's what's even more fukt up; I didn't even get probation. haha I didn't even have to go to court. I was still driving on my license, and I got a letter in the mail from the South Carolina DMV saying that my license had been suspended for two months and I hadn't even been informed about it. It was only suspended for 6 months, but I apparently have to take a DUI class, which will cost about $275, even though I wasn't intoxicated when I got arrested, and I have to send $100 to the SC DMV, which I did today. I will also have to pay a $210 reinstatement fee.
Sorry to hear about your pal Spiral... Mids are not so bad, better than nothing. Sending positives vibes your way!!
Indeed. I'd sacrifice one of my fingers for some mids right now, as long as I was still able to roll a joint and/or pack a bowl. lol Weedlessness is the shittiest thing in the world.
