My girlfriend is now fat!

woohooo i'm about 5'4" and 150ish... wide bone structure and fat, on my part at least.... haha... if i worked out and ate very little i could get down to 140 probably.... so yeah, 150 isn't fat!!!!!! unless you're like.... 4'9"...

 

As someone who now weighs 40 lbs more than I did three years ago (from 95 to 135) and struggled with anorexia for years (70-something at my lowest), let me say, simply, you don't DESERVE a girlfriend with your attitude.


No one ripped on you. You also can't change people by being mean. I suggest you break up.

Second.. if you actually cared about her, and after 2 years you should, then something like that wouldn't matter to you. -.-

sorry, but 40 pounds over two years, does not obeseness make. I gained 20 pounds last year, so I'm pretty much on par with this gal in terms of weight change. Yeah, I'm not at my healthiest weight. But 40 pounds does mean she's obese. Being overweight and being obese are two different things, and come with different health risks.


and yes, each person has a choice as to their partner. They also have the choice to not be an ass and deal with their problems with their partner, rather than come in here whining about their partner. She complains about money? He complains about her appearance (and in a bloody rude way).

Why don't you sign up to go to the gym together. chances are, she's not happy with the weight gain either. Do some sort of exercise routine together so she has some motivation. Eat healthier food. you can't set her up to fail. If you love her, you should help.

I would like to think that my boyfriend would not let me let myself go and help me out losing weight instead of just bitching about it.

Lotusblossom, I don't think anybody meant to attack him because of his preference of slim women, just the way he talks about his girlfriend here doesn't show much respect for her, that's why it annoys peeps. If he had asked people for advice for how to talk to his gf or how to motivate her, then i think everybody would have reacted differently. But he was basically insulting her, and if my bf did that and I found out i would be so hurt. Poor girl!

 

well, she might be so miserable with a loser prick who's got no money and is trying to compensate for lack of adequate sex with some chocolate. you really aughtta do her a favor and leave. she'll lose the weight and the misery that's helping her to pack it on.
