Rear bumpers for a 72 are pretty hard to find because they are one year only. A cheaper way to go might be to find a bumper straightening place around here. I know there is a place in denver that will make your bumper good as new for about$150.00, there is probably a similar place in a large city near you. Another option would be to go to some VW shows and try to pick one up at the swap meets there. A 72 bumper will look similar to a 68-71 except that the holes are spaced farther fromt eh center and the splash pans are different. Are you just looking for the pad that goes behind the seat and on top of the engine? if so that would be pretty easy to find. Also for new bus parts one of the cheaper sources is www.busdepot.com. They are located in penn. also I believe.
I am possibly getting a 73 parts bus next week that still has the whole westy interior in it. I haven't looked at it yet but If the z-bed is in good shape I'd make you a good deal. Probably have to take a ton of digital pictures and then take it completely apart to ship it. I will let you know after I look at it.
ok cool. ill pretty much take any quality...since ill fix it up i dont know how much shipping would be but id be willing to pay most anything to get my bus looking good
that bus is awesome! i love it! how much did you pay for it? i've seen them around for about 3-5 thousand. i might get one, but i think im just gonna get an old school bus instead. o the things i can do with a school bus!
yes and if that cliff is the grand canyon, you could just jump down and land on all those sweaters!! it wouldnt even hurt!
