My cartilage piercing got a bit infected and swelled around the piercing. Couldn't grab the from to be able to pull on the back without tugging on the area that hurt, blech. Luckily, mine was in my ear and I got my girlfriend to pull it out with her nails. In your nose, that sux.... A clasp thingy on the back of the stud? I just use the little plastic sheath tips, much easier to remove in these cases. They seem to create unneeded pressure...
there aren't clasps, i'll post some pics in a little but, it's the same shape at this: and i can't pull the ball on the bottom to come back through.
Mine did too. When I finally got it out, I was able to clear out a good bit of puss and infection. Maybe a topical ointment with antibiotics in it would help?
maybe so, i'm going to have to go into my shop sooner or later. but now it's to the point where i'm too scared. puss and infection? sounds gross.
Yah know what the piercing is made out of? Mine got real bad because of the cheap metal that was in it... maybe switch to a silver one or stainless steel if it is one of those cheap funky alloys.
It was gross, but oh the relief! I'm not too big a puss generally, but these things really hurt. I could feel my ear pulsing and throbbing as it just set for hours as I waited to get help. I'm sorry
it's a little piece of shit, it was only supposed to be in for a few days, but it got stuck. blar. i usually use a steel piece.
Yep, that shit ass metal is what I had a reaction to. Remain strong, you'll get through it. Tried pliers in the nose... ?
A few months ago, my nose piercing got stuck and kind of ripped out... long story.... so I went up to the hospital (lol) I had some anaesthetic *sp and they got plyers and took it out that way. It did hurt, but it was quick Oh and its fine now btw. It looks exactly the same. Good luck!
I had an "L" shape crew once. I bought it at wal-mart. I learned the hard way to never buy my body jewelry anywhere you can buy tires.
IT IS OUT! i went in, and with the swelling down, the guy saw that it actually healed up on the bottom and started healing around the post, but the ball was much wider, so i had to have the ball pulled through the already healed stuff. and then the bottom part had to get repierced. it was painful and gross\, but now its out.
