Yes but you are claiming the opposite - that NAFTA was a bad thing even though it was followed by a period of prosperity and growth. They are random - one statistic for one time period for one country, then a different statistic for a different country for a different time period. It is obviously cherry picking, you only consider it OK because it supports your story. Yes but again, it is clearly cherry picking. Why compare growth with a time period that ends in 1980, when the agreement was implemented in 1994? Because that gives them the number they want. I don't think NAFTA is the saviour. In fact I am opposed to regional trading blocs like NAFTA, I think they distort trade and it would be better to get a new WTO round completed. I support the principle of free trade, that is what I'm defending. Like always, when the economy weakens people get scared and start voting for protectionism which only makes things worse. That' what I'm concerned about. Yes, nobody wants to compete, they would rather bribe their congressman to enact protectionist legislation. I don't sympathise. Yes the big bad scary SPP, yet you have never come up with a single thing they have done that has done you any harm. You just bought into the fearmongering.
