The President Ulysses S. Grant grew up in Georgetown near me. Umm, you probably don't know him but Stephen Newman (the "worldwalker"), the only man to walk around the world solo, lives near me in Ripley. I've talked to him a little about traveling. A few Cincinnati Bengals got arrested in Eastgate near me too.

 

hmmmm I had a baseball coach who played little league with Derek Jeter in Kalamazoo and a neighbor who went to high school with the pro wrestler Rob Van Dam in Battle Creek....I guess one time Rob got suspended for backflipping off the school roof haha.
