Oh, there's a girl version of every boy name (for the fathers who just had to have a boy or a kid named after them.) Like Donelle, for example.

i was named Jesse after Jesse James. as completely ridiculous as that sounds, i think it's pretty badass. apparently he's a distant relative, but i never bothered to figure out how....the vague story is that he slept with a cherokee woman and she had is baby, and boom, there's part of my family. only problem is, whenever i submit my name to something important, they assume i'm male because of the spelling. but, it's a part of me and my family so i like it. my middle name, erin, was given because of my family's strong irish heritage. for a long time i hated my name, but i've grown to like it and feel very connected to it.
