YOU FRICKIN IDIOT! GOSH! ^_^ im gonna be quoting the movie like that and i'm sure many others will, so i'll get tired of it soon.... but right now napoleon freakin rocks man!
it was a decent flick, nothing extraordinary. but the constant quoting and the fact that it's overrated so much make me hate it, and hate the people who won't shut up about it.
I watched it with 5 other people, 3 of us were completely cracked up by it, the other three HATED it. I was one fo the ones who loved it I think it appeals to a very specific sense of humour.. I'd agree its somewhat overrated, but still, it was different and kept me amused throughout.. Gotta love the dance hehe. Dunno if i'd want to watch it again though...
Vote for pedro! hehehe i didnt watch the whole film, just a couple of scenes and i thought it was really funny. gotta watch it someday though.
the film has no cussing or any of the other Hollywood stuff because it was produced and written by two mormons, the main actor is mormon as well. profanity, drugs, violence....all those are against the mormon religion. i respect them for being able to make a movie that has gotten people so excited without doing it in a way that compromises their beliefs
that's how i feel as well i liked it but there's much better movies that dont get nearly as much hipe
i know this thread is pretty old, but that film is stil one of my favorites... i identified lots with napoleon, having been a bit of an outcast, and stil sorta am... and no, it wont be a cult classic, cause WAY too many people saw that film, it would have been better if they hadnt...and you know, the "vote For Pedro" shirts arent bad, if the people wearing them arent the summer/trisha type...
Just saw it yesterday, and while I can't say I loved it, I found it to be quite good indeed. It's definitely unlike any movie I've seen in my life. Doesn't even feel like a movie, but like real life (not my life as such, but life nontheless). I didn't really find it to be very funny, though. There were some points where I laughed, but mostly it was quite depressing.
Definatly a stoner movie.. I thought the voices were Beevis and Butthead at first.. The Kip - Lafawnduh easter egg was a hoot.. My son and I (24) watched it first and loved it.. I watched with my 10 yr old and she hated it and quit halfway through.. So I got high and finished it.. I thought I was gonna pee my pants whe Napoleon busts a move.. The third time I watched it was with the BF he hated it and didn't even finish.. There you go,, You either Love it or Hate it..
i really liked it, then EVERYONE at school started to qoute it ALL THE TIME. now i dont like it so much. its soooo annoying when people do that.
the people who didnt acctually like it will stop quoting and tlaking about it...true fans wil live on
Kidding: Geek Classic of the Century--Hats off to the Nineties--saw it six months ago. Away... My kinda Mormon--They Put Mohammed to Shame!
the first time I saw this movie... I was just a bit puzzled. I watched it again, and laughed my ass off... I love it. GLAMOUR SHOTS BY DEB.
