He's got to find something that sparks his interest. I've found a lot of kids don't do that well in school, because school only knows how to teach academically, and doesn't pay attention to kids that are, for instance, kinesthetic, "learn by doing" types. I think enraged angel is taking too hard a line here, generalizing.
Well i spoke with him and asked him what interests him but he has no potential what so ever. When we start school me, my brother and my mom even offered to help him study and everything... he just doesn't want to do it.
He'll probably be a good car mechanic, or some skilled craft. Kids like that eventually either end up career criminals, or find something that they can do with their hands and make money at. One or the other.
He said he wants to weld but the bad thing about that is where he wants to go is there isn't any demand for it.... But he can't do his welding if he doesnt even go to school and he has no potential to go to school at all.... His highest level of education is 7th grade.

Obviously, so we can tell you to go take a hike, right? And you can take whatever hike you want, even if it's all over this thread, tracking your silly dirt.
We hang out occasionally and plot ways and places to kill you and hide the body. Yes, yes you can. Hiking is good for the soul.
