Hahaha, Halo using Natal would be awesomeeeee. Natal looks amazing. I wonder if it actually tracks the entire body without a controller like that. If it actually works as well as that little commercial for it shows, then holy shit. I don't see how you could even compare that PS3 stick or the Wii. Honeastly I see little difference between the PS3 stick and the Wiimote. The biggest problem is the 'motion sensitive exclusive' games. I want them to make REAL games for this shit, not just games specifically made for it by crappy developers. I'm sure Sony and Microsoft must realize this...
sure you will... you got MOH for the Wii.. why wouldn't they be able to do Halo for the Natal.. plus imagine how much the sales would sky rocket in a FPS that is motion activated.. that would be sick.. or an MMO that is motion activated..
claims like this make you sound dumb The tech with the PS3 is soooooo much more advanced than Natal/Wii. It is 1:1 tracking (something the Wii can;t do with motion control standard) and it has the same ability to track head/body movement like in Natal (and already does in certain games using the PSEye). Really though, I don't see myself buying it. And I don't see many cool games that are going to implement it either. It's a gaming fad.
http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/...ll-allow-everyone-to-be-tedious-200906021797/ Great report on it.
if it's there for some games.. it's only a matter of time for other games to figure out how to use that technology as well.. asia makes all this shit these days.. the west is always ahead in technology.. especially when it comes to gaming..
Dude seriously are you that much of a fanboy to not realize that the PS3 peripheral is weak compared to natal and effectively copies the wii Its cool but not that cool, seriosly
The possibilities are endless! Imagine flying planes or planting a garden or the Sims or cooking or cutting hair!
Imagine The Sims on this thing. Hahaha, and it'd be online, that'd be the greatest shit ever. you'd never have to leave the house again!
No, it's because head tracking and body tracking have been done before using the Eye Toy, which Playstation Eye expands its technology off of. Similar code can be written and implemented using the Playstation Eye along with the motion controls. Again I will say that I really don't care too much about this junk, as I want to play a game, not dance around
Ah but EyeToy groove was fun You're right about the Eyes though. I'm surprised something like Natal hasn't been around for longer. I'm just gonna wait to see what sort of games they release for it. That'll be what makes or breaks it.
I love how nintendo comes up with an innovative product, and the response of other industry giants is to emulate it..
It is pretty sad, but I'd try it, haha. I'm desperate like that. If it takes off, I think the Wii is in trouble.
The Wii isn't in trouble at all. Nintendo will think up some new fad and motion controls will be forgotten. Knowing Sony, though, next generation, they will make a motion control heavy system and it will fail because everyone has already realized it's stupid as fuck.
I haven't had an emotional investment in any video game system since I got an original xbox, and that was like 8 years ago. I just think it sucks that innovation is met with imitation and not more innovation.
yea.. gaming systems don't make me go ooo and ahh any more really.. i owned a 360 for a couple months.. got bored with it and sold it.. video games these days are just recycled BS.. same premises..just instead of humans.. this time it will be robots. next it'll be zombies.. oooo..
i was impressed when the Wii came out.. and still would like to own one.. but its not at the top of my priorities
