Nazi / "Aryan" Black metal

I think it's despicable, but it's not something you can actually stop. (Freedom of speech and whatnot) What is WORSE is that these guys were handing out samples of their cds to highschool students - on highschool property. Thankfully the school was able to kick them off the property, but only as far as the sidewalk. These people were literally putting hate in the kids' hands. Sick. What kind of person has THAT kind of hate?

And to those (or the one person, I forget) who said they don't support the ideals but still listen to some of the music... that IS support. Especially if you buy that shit, you're padding the pockets of extreme hate and intolerance. Shame on you.

he was somewhat grateful to hitler, but he still hated him. Especially since the Falangists were devoutly christian and Nazism was very anti-christian. Fascism, Falangism and Nazism are three totally different ideologies.

There is a station here that plays only horrific sounding eminem christian ripoffs or terrible screaming Christian metal...its really bad.
Seems Christianity is a real barrier to creativity.


One thing we can thank Franco for, Spain didn't get bombed during world war 2 due to Franco's truce with Hitler....some of the largest old town sections of Europe are in Barcelona and Madrid....of course there were also concentration camps in Catalunya that not many people know about.

 

Cool he's playing in a black metal band. I love seeing the unobvious happen, and I think it's great when black metal gains in some variety among its musicians and fans.

You obviously misunderstood my post, and then made a needlessly agressive reply that makes no sense at all. I posted about black metal musicians that spread nazi views, who happen to come from france or eastern europe a bit more often than from other countries, and you think I'm calling all french people nazis? And not only that, you take it so personally you want to come and "hunt me down"? Tsk tsk, with such an attitude you could easily join Le Pen's inner posse.

No, you had to be of "Germanic" descent, which includes Scandinavians, Celts (France, Britain), Dutch, Flemish etcetera.

I, like I said, listen to the music through the fantastic medium called mp3. I do not consciously support them financially whatsoever, and since the lyrics are not understandable without reading them, and generally don't even explicitly deal with the nazi ideaology, I'm not being brainwashed. Furthermore, I'm perfectly capable of listening to music without being influenced by things I don't want to be influenced by. I'm perfectly peaceful and happy despite the violent, sometimes depressive music. I wouldn't be if I let music meddle with my mind so much. Also, for me it's the music that counts, and if the music's good I'm not going to let it go by because ther views don't fit me. Though if I know it's nazi I'm not as attracted to try it out. With soulseek, I ban nazis (with membernames like Kristallnacht or just a lot of nazi bands) that download from me, and don't download from nazis.

But yes, I agree that nazi music should be forcefully silenced.

Black metal is just for the kids who aren't cool enough to play D&D. Its a bunch of faggotry church burning and christian bashing. I'm not even christian and i think thats lame. Death Metal is where its at. Go listen to some Opeth or Morbid Angel and stop whining.

I hate being a "genre nazi" but Opeth is extreme progressive metal.
