This is a free country. People have the right to speak whatever language they want, and no one has the right to force language onto people if they don't want it. Period.

 

Our majority also legally protects the minority, majority doesn't always rule.

Also the constitution doesn't prescribe English as the national language, it was just written in English. How about the fact. Pennsylvania almost made a copy in German at the time. New York made official documents in Dutch up until the early 20th century to celebrate the Dutch colonial legacy. French is an official language of Louisiana and a de facto one for government documents in Maine. Government forms in CT can come in over 10 different languages ranging from Italian to Korean.

No one ever complains about these though, just those damn spicks coming here and changing society.

I think people who speak English, should learn a real language, the mother language of English - and everyone who forces English on people should be forced to learn old Latin. That's right. Google it. It was the precursor for REAL ENGLISH.

Immigrants do more work then anyone, how many immigrants do you see making $25 an hour? How often is the phrase "working like a mexican" said to meant barely working vs working back breaking labor.

Get an education like the rest of us? Yea, ok. Conviently ignore the fact most people don't go to college fully on their own dime, in fact the majority receive pell or other types of federal/state grants, go to a state school that is subsides by other people's tax money, or qualify for a loan only because of their parents who have to co-sign for it.

Grants are not for straight A students, anyone with a GPA of I believe 2.8 and above is eligible for both pell grants and federal subsidized loans. Florida and Georgia(and maybe others) give full free tuition to state schools to any high school student who had a B average or above.

Fuck I didn't make the honor roll at any point during senior year and I got pell grants, your money paid for 2/3 of my school, and the subsidized loans for the rest, hell yeaaaa.

No kidding parents have the choice to co-sign, but then what if they don't, I'd like to see the 19 year old with the credit rating to take out a $12,000 loan.

Doesn't matter anyways, American students are laughable anyways, our kids are fucking morons by nearly every measure. American degrees are often worth paper in other countries. We're so spoiled and dumb it's hilarious, no wonder we're the last country in the world that debates whether health care is a right or not.
