thanks for the encouragement. i was worried my hair wouldn't dread, but i feel much better about it now.
ohh I see. So what you're saying is. If I don't touch my hair and let it do its own thing.. it will turn into dreadlocks? thats incredible. What about wax though? That speeds up the dreading process yes?
super duper, your hair will look great when it's done i'm glad you're going natural, that's the best way in my opinion!
i'm goin neglect method too, been about 4 months and still not much goin on. its still a bit short tho. urs looks pretty long so i guess it'll go quicker. good luck
Dread it in the name of his Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile I Selassie I Jah Rastafari! but seriously I met this Jamaican Rasta guy and he was about 6'3" he had the most badass dreads, one went down to about his knee, and it was flat, about 1 inch thick and 4-5 inches wide.. So gnarly... that's the only way to do dreads I think, if youre Rastafarian. Other wise its kind of like barbarian style messy hair.. I had dreads from neglect before too though.. when I was 16-17, I almost had all my hair knotted up, but then I shaved it.. and Ive just cut it every year since
