More jokes. No But actually I'm into getting people together and creating festivals and commune tribes. Beats living by one's self in a closet. Right? Besides, I'm am awesome cook so if you lived in or around my commune or my trip, you would be dinning in style on the most incredible diners.
i think conditions being created by corporate neo-feudalism, are pushing everyone into a corner of where you either become a progressivist, or a serf, with idle fantasies of feudal lordship. a lot of people buy into the latter because they find it 'infotaining'. but more and more, i think enough people are refusing to, that just maybe, it will be possible to make a difference. i mean either we do, or we live in a world of largely u.s. based, corporate hitlers.
in some ways i don't think these two things are completely seperate. the popular resurection of what it was really about, the same struggles have come round again, because we are facing many of the same things, that it was only in the 70s we achieved any real relief from, thanks to the sacrafices and struggles that took place in the 60s. i mean there were good times, because they were creative and looking forward times. but the good was made by looking forward rather then back. the established opposition were looking backwards. going along looking backwards. that is what is meant by backward headed. no paying attention to real conditions that were being created, and expecting ideology to be a magic wand that would deal with everything so no one would have to. and of course it does just the opposite of that. i mean, if you want to talk about the real thing, i don't think we can ignore the conditions that created it, nor that we are again facing them today. i don't think its coincidence therefor, that people are once again starting to think about things, like we did then.
