To be honest, I agree with deviate here.

I would most likely refuse the search. I would just say that it is totally without reason, and I did nothing to warrant it, and I would let the situation unfold from there. If he wants to be a prick and bust a kid with only a crummy 1/8th of pot, so be it. But hes gonna have to call the dogs and waste his time (while likely making a scene of it), just to bust another teenage pot smoker with crummy nickel and dime bags...

However, my decision is probably pretty heavily affected by the fact that I live in New York state. Here, small-time posession will only result in confiscated weed, and a court appearance ticket. Most times the judge will throw out cases over petty mary-jane posession, but even if he does feel like getting on your ass- the most you're gettin is a 100$ ticket. No criminal record, no jail time, and only minimal bullshit (compared to most states, that is).

Because it is decriminalized in NY, I think a lot of cops tend to turn the other cheek to it. By decriminalizing mary-jane in NY, I think the government is practically telling us; smoke your fuckin herb, do it responsibly, do it in private, just dont sell/grow the shit. As long as you stick to those guidelines you haven't much to worry about.

While (respectfully) refusing a search, some cops may be complete fuckheads and decide to go through the whole tedious process of getting a dog to search your car, however I think some would also think; "well, this guy knows his rights, he knows what hes up against, and he knows how this works," then they may just tell you to go on your way, knowing that hes gonna make an ass out of himself, and probably for only a meesly 20 bag.

Worst case scenario: I get a ticket and lose my bag. Best case scenario: I get off scott-free, with my weed to go home and smoke. So its worth it in my book.

I got pulled over once with over an ounce in my pocket divided up with scale(intent to sell).. a joint in my ear(possession).. a pipe in my ashtray(paraphernalia).. a throwing knife with the handle wrapped in electrical tape in my glove compartment(concealed weapon).. and while i was getting pulled over i just casually closed my ashtray and swiped the joint out of my ear and tucked it under my seat.. when i was pulled over he asked me why i thought i got pulled over and i responded "yea.. im guessing its because of my burnt out head light" and he's like yea.. can i see id and insurance.. so i hand him my id.. and i had to go into the glove compartment for my insurance card.. im thinkin fuck that knife better not be sitting on top.. open slowly and it wasnt there.. so i grab the card and hand it to the officer.. hes like "this card is expired" so im like shit.. now i gotta search my glove box.. i'm slowly fingering through and i find the other card.. whew.. i hand it to him and he leaves.. comes back.. says "get that light fixed it'll save ya from us pulling you over".. and off i went.. all ya gotta do is know how to play your cool and not act STUPID...

 

thats exactly where i stash mine when i dont have it delivered to my house. i dont think they will unscrew like 25 screws to get into my subwoofer box. they might not even have a screwdriver actually. the problem is you can only fit a few pounds in there so the best idea is make your dealer deliver. lol

 

Depends on the area, an dhow the officer is acting beforehand. If you have it hidden in a spot the officer will not check then I would consent most often.

 

The only thing is about this hidding thing. Even if it works at first, I know for a fact if they think I have drugs in my car they will bring drug dogs...so no matter what they'll find it. I still say get a cab or bus and wear a backpack.

 

I knew someone that would bring weight back from cali on the greyhound. Public transit is smart as hell imo. Another decent spot is go under the hood, open the air box, take the air filter out and put the weed in the airbox (before the filter, not on the engine side...) then put the filter back in and close it up. I bet also there is a way to make sealed compartments in the doors and dash. Ive been a mechanic off and on since I was 17, so if I was running weight my shit would be like a fuckin james bond car.

 

x2. I remember when I was 15/16 years old trying to "invent" a secret stach compartment haha.. The new 07 Acura TSX I'm looking at has a false floor in the trunk. Room for a cooler or something I'm guessing? How convinient.
But after I get moved back up North East about 600 miles, and have to make trips down to Texas to pick up my stuff from my connect, I might seriously consider greyhound.

 

Hell yeah man you should definitely do that. It would take so long riding the bus, but also much less paranoia

Drug dealers are a big thing targeted in our area right now so you have to be careful, but I went up to walmart other night, there was a narc up there, I walked by him and he started looking at me really funny. I about busted out.
