Never Trust A Man Who Doesn't Drink.

I get tired of people pressuring me to drink, usually ones on the line from tipsy to slurring drunk.
My gut doesn't handle hard liquor or wine well at all! I would love to enjoy wine, but can't, unless it's the expensive stuff (something with the amount of tannins). Won't take a crapshoot at that price if I'll like it. Most beers don't sit well either, the ones that do, not sold everywhere.

I don't mind people having some wine, a couple beers, or a mixed drink around me. It's the inevitable obnoxious boor who presses people to drink to excess, down shots like breathing air, becomes the loud, or angry, or sad drunk that sickens me. I'm having a good time, either 0, 1, or 2 beers max, then the drinks ruin it, time to go. Then they reminisce about how great it was, when they barely remember, were sick, hungover, and blew $100 or more, and ruined the money I spent, having a good time until they got wasted.

My philosophy is, you can tell me what to eat, drink, put down my mouth & spend my money on, right after I can tell you what to buy & you stick it up your other end!

The irony is years ago, friends set me up on a date with a gal who went to Church 3x a week. I took her to a nice restaurant, they had a fancy import beer I liked. I ordered one so she wouldn't think I was a stiff who wouldn't drink at all. First beer in months. She freaked & obsessed about my one beer, told I seldom drink, this was the only one I'd order that night. Her stupidity was going on & on about it, I'd drive drunk etc after one beer. (I'm not a little guy, so mathematically impossible). If she'd eased up, I would probably be ok with not drinking, doubt there were even 10 other guys in my demographic in that large city that drank LESS than me!

I gave my good friends hell for that setup! Like, do you guys even know me, or was this some payback prank?? Oh well, bad dates make for good stories! In her version, I'm some reckless drunk who ordered one beer with his meal! LOL!

 

Alcohol numbs social pressure and anxiety which allows people to mellow out while having discussion but Mr.non drinker doesn't have that subdued relaxation. He doesn't understand the relaxed sarcasm and general non care attitudes of the people drinking and talking shit cause that's what you do when drinking you talk shit. But Mr non drinker doesn't get that. He takes everything you say seriously.

Synthetic weed is not original synthetic weed either. It used to be before it was banned.

But as I know can't trust a bloke that don't drink I'm also aware you can't argue with a tobacco smoker either cause they're always on edge needing another ciggie so they're ALWAYS argumentitive.

I gave up alcohol. It has been more than 2 months now, I guess. I had drinking disorders.

Cigarettes doesnt fuck your life like alcohol does. I got beaten up 2 times when I was drunk.

 

Spent a good 15 years my prime drinking' and parting'. walked away from it all 34 years ago cuz the man in the mirror had a "talking' to me one bloody morning after a good one, have never looked back or missed it though my "friends" of those days no longer comem around. Guess they don't trust me, but I must admit, I think "dam fools" when In see their names in the local paper

 

And one time I was hit by a car when I was drunk. I dont remember anything. My memory came after that, when I saw police telling me about it. I must have jumped in front of cars when I was drunk drunk.

However it was nothing serious. The car must have slowed down. I dont remember anything myself. I have no memory of it happening. The police told me this.

 

If smoking don't fuck your life up then I'm right, You aren't smoking real cigarettes lol

I know smoking is just as bad for you but I haven't drank for two months and feel good about myself.
