According to the above survey we are all waiting ahead of the crowd waiting for each other to show up to start a new love movement to invoke the masses to live free and peaceful and in love with our human family like our souls were meant to return to!

I'm here. I constantly feel alone in my "hip-ness" because the few "hippies" that were here are moving away for school whilst im attending community college. *sigh*

Once upon a time, all of the hippies who really cared, decided to check in here and to start something. They were all sick and tired of being lonely and sad. They decided that they could all get together in one place and pitch in and rent a big gigantic house and start a big commune together. They did it. Then they could all meditate together, party together, make love together, get stoned together, cook, and eat together and clean together. Trip all at once. Be Something, together.

And they all lived happily ever after.

I still have faith in humanity.

You are humanity. I still have faith in you.

Ok quick question. When is this new movement beggining, cause i sick of living like this, always under surveilence, and having to live around a society of people who's goal in life is to make more money, repopulate, and raise their kids to rack in the money.

I just want to live with like-inded people, who want nothing but peace and love

    This movement is beginning yesterday.

    Here is the bigger question:
What are you willing to do in order to get what you are hoping for?

It's ain't going walk up to your front door and knock on it.

You said, "I just want to live with like-minded people, who want nothing but peace and love." And many of us want to go out and find that.

If it meant that you have to move to another town in another state, in order to do that, then would you? If you have to work doing something and had to save up some of your money in order to do that, could you?

Are you really seeking that. because it is around. And can be found. For starters, keep looking around this forum site. An example: If you find the you should move to Vermont, Will You? Or Oregon?

Moving is highly probable... As this state (Ohio) is going in completely the opposite direction. Not sure I or OhioLeaf, or any of the other forum member/residents that care can do anything about it either.

My problem is I'm kind of stuck here at the moment.

    Tyrsonswood,

The world is your oyster, my boy!
So, I just hope that you are not allergic to shell fish. LOL That's a joke.

    The bottom line.
    Hint: Find the Pearl.

One moment you are stuck. One moment you are not stuck. It's all in one's head.

Our new friend OhioLeaf is in Northeast Ohio. Can you assist OhioLeaf in any why? You may in turn be helping your own self. You never know how circles of friend will grow.
    LOL

Always Worth reaching out a hand.

Additional. Oh I just had another thought. Question. What is the opposite of stuck. Hint Starts with an FR.

I think I checked when he signed up. We are a little over 125 away from each other...

EDIT: I just checked and it wasn't OhioLeaf but someone else... Could be about the same distance. I'm North Central.

    Hey gang.

I am so so very excited. I've been saving money for ages now. Yesterday I went out to a fourth of July sale at Guitar Center store, and bought everything that I need for a full on mid-size P. A. system. Loud left speaker 50 feet over that way and loud right speaker 50 feet over that way. 2 50foot Cables, 2 speaker tripod stands, a small Mixer box that goes with the Cables one out to each speaker with volume and controls and several inputs / my computer will be cabled in to that as an input. I have over a thousand 60s songs of 60s groups. Can also plug in a record player, a CD player, or other source. I also have a new Shure mic and a 100 foot mic cable! I'm so Stoked! old surfer term. "Houston… We have a sound system."

I have a dream of us starting a new kind of get together.

I now have two of the three main start components. The big van. You saw those pictures. Now, a new sound system. Next, I need to buy a gas generator that will produce more that enough wattage. Big, but nothing too huge. Not a problem. Soon. Very Soon.

This party can start at any time, but the weather is far too hot. After the seasons start to change, we can have 60s parties! Santana, anyone?

    I am SCREAMINGLY HAPPY!

We’re going to launch this puppy! Really.

I'm down, scorpio! I have always wanted to get in on the ground floor of a hip gathering but a lot of them are very "clique oriented" or elitist in my area. Either you are born into it or you better be handing them money. I have no resources of my own to start anything that could last. People as a whole tend to be fickle and so absorbed into their own plastic dome that it's hard to reach out to them sometimes. What I can bring to the table here is hard work and passion. I am willing to save money and move like you were talking about earlier in this thread. There isn't much holding me to this place. I have a decent job, a great girlfriend who would love to be a part of something like this and a dog. That's about it. Are you suggesting some kind of communal living situation? Obviously, music and art is a big part of the vision. I guess what I'm saying is give me a little direction and I'm there.

Kenny, we need more souls like you in London, all I see here is people staring blankly wearing suits doing their daily commute and everything is grey. No random friendly smiles, no dedication to anything other than a job. I need to get out to the states, I think I'd fit in more there! I have no reason to be here other than staying until April when the lease is out on my place, then I am outta here! I've been saving money for years so I can just go out and be with the world and my like minded brothers and sisters.

there's an ancient hippie proverb "Be here now". Now, people can read into this however it best fits into their life but to me it means don't spend your time wishing you were in another time or place. Make it happen where you are. After you can wrap your head around freeing your own mind, then you can lead by example. Hopefully when people see how happy being yourself can make you, they will throw off the shackles of the oppressive society they bought into. Stick to your guns, don't sell yourself short and reach just a little further than you think you can. You will probably surprise yourself.

Right now in my life, I have to stay put, I've got a kid that needs me 24/7 and it would be wrong of me to take her away from her families so i can feel happy. I've got my plans though, I wont be sticking around here for much longer.

Be here now to me, right now, means be here for her. She needs me now, but I've plenty of time to help the world and feel happy, her happiness right now is what matters.

It's okay, I'll be all over the news in years to come, the world isn't ready for me yet ;)
