Aura suggested Sophia as a baby girl name, and I like this one a lot. As for boy names I dont know, when I named Jack it was partly because it's my favorite boy name, and because that was my grandfathers name and he was an amazing boxer, so it all kind of fell into place. But now I have no idea for other boy names. My pick for a girl name would be either Aiysha (consort to Mohammed) or Umā (consort to Lord Shiva) not only for the way they come off the tongue and have light, lifting sounds, but to reflect my basis in spirituality beginning with Sufism under al-Islam and eventual branching out into Hinduism. I mean, I dont stricly adhere to either particular faith, nor do I distinguish between God's universal blossoming life as any other than One fundamental force splitting from the point of creation outward, but those 2 women have had profound effects on my awareness as I've grown up, Aiysha representing equality and inner strength to serve God, and Uma (Parvati) representing my eventual longing to respect Mother Nature as an emanation of the Absolute. But, in all honesty I would never dare act like I had any place or right to name a child, though I will of course aid in making sure Aura is comfortable physically throughout the pregnancy, I am not the one who has to carry a baby and go through the delivery, and therefor it is her choice entirely to pick any name her heart desires. I've helped deliver one baby already, and after seeing how much work and effort goes into the miraculous birth process, I know to keep my mouth shut and accept God's will and the mothers position. (Although, if she let me use one of those two as a middle name, Id be one very happy boy  )
Thank you to all of my friends here who have become much more closer to a family with the amount of support and good cheer you all bring to the table (haha), good health to all of you and your loved ones and most importantly

Thank you dilli and scarlett :) I still havent even gone to sleep since Thursday evening, too excited! I did my morning meditation and was reading some of my Guruji's teaching on love and the miracles that are all around us at all times, constant little refreshing reminders to put us back on the path of God realization. When we dissolve our wants and desires, and open our hearts to Gods love for us, everything takes on such profound meaning, and the strength I've gained since Yogananda blessed me with a vision last year is constantly accumulating.

Sophia is a beautiful name. If I had a daughter I would name her that.
I also really like Aiysha...You should name her Sophia Aiysha :D
    That actually sounds nice.

Just to know that Aura and I share such a wonderful, loving relationship as a reflection of God's love for all of creation moves me to such profound bliss and excitement. To know that we do not have to worry about such disgusting problems as abortion, or the heart breaking descision of adoption as some couples are forced to consider due to lack of mental stability or selflessness, is enough to make me get on my knees and thank God for having brought Aura into my life. That, together we are mature enough and so enthusiastically willing to take on the responsibility of having another baby mouth to feed and soul to teach in our house is truly a blessing that I feel is so much more than anyone could ever ask for. I have committed many wrongs with negative intentions to many people in my life, and I know that Jack is who has taught me by confronting his innocence how to love again, how to be truly thankful for being allowed to exist and have the time alotted to make things right, turn myself around back into a positive, caring person. Now that I have matured and grown in so many different ways, I feel that it is my turn to start giving back, and I feel my best option to do that in this position of my life is to be the best father possible. I never had a real father growing up, and I remember the disappointment I used to feel as a little boy when I would constantly be reminded that my father didnt like me and didnt care about me, and I was truly an accident that only my mom could love me. Aura and I have helped each other to open up to love as it is, and together with that kind of a connection, helping usher a new soul into our world becomes an absolute gift from God rather than just a new role of responsibility to adopt.
I honestly can not feel happier than I do and the anticipation is driving me crazy

Relayer, I was wondering. What are your going to tell your kids about drugs when they get old enough to have that discoussion? I know your a mod over in the pyschedelic forums and I think you offer a unique perspective on what a parent should tell and teach their kids about the strange and often tempting world of drug use.

Well, that's a good question really. And because I dont really know how I will be approaching it yet. I mean Im only 23 and my son is turning 3 at the end of October, so I still have very much to learn.
But, I believe that when it comes to pure psychedelics, (magic mushrooms, LSD, DMT and the like) honesty is the best policy, but when the child is mentally mature enough to even begin to fathom what the experience is all about.
Im half torn between having an intense interest with psychedelics as tools for spiritual growth and human evolution, but the other half of me listens to yogis and self disciplined masters who say that while they reveal beautiful new dimensions of mind reality, they are essentially diversions from the path of total God realization.
The way I imagine it, is that when my son gets to be around 15 or 16, if he shows a true interest in spirituality and meditation, and it is apparent that he is going to start wondering about psychedelic sooner rather than later, I will probaby sit down with him and bring up the discussion in a very serious manner. I believe that kids are going to do whatever they want regardless of how you feel about it, at least most kids will experiment, and Id rather my son to have a solid foundation in what to expect from a psychedelic experience if hes going to try one anyway, rather than go into it blind like I did. I remember my first magic mushroom trip when I was 15, munched down an 1/8 of potent cubensis all by myself while my parents were asleep upstairs thinking it was going to be like a marijuana high with more fuzzy vision, and the visual aspect of the trip I remember imagining it to be MUCH different, like maybe objects slightly warping and melting etc. Boy was I in for a suprise when before I even felt a body load, I was watching television and couldnt explain why I immediatley felt like I knew everyone, on every commercial and program, as if the actors were family members lol. I didnt realize until years later that what I was experiencing was the Oneness of God's creation, the Buddhist and Hindu meditative connection of cosmic consciousness. I thought I was just losing my mind, and the next 4 hours was tossing and turning in bed while reality came crashing down in violent waves, half blissful and heavenly and half nightmares and hellish
So even though I wouldnt change a thing about my own travels in the psychedelic worlds, Id rather let my son know everything I've come to learn from them, so that if he were to give it a go, he already have a foot in the door and reduce the risk of bugging out and actin a foo.
As far as other drugs go, opiates, cocaine, MDMA, speed and the rest of the drugs which serve in the end to have habits become our fate, I will be totally honest and reveal how badly I abused all of them and how horribly they ruined my life for nearly 7 years. I see no reason to lie about such things, you know? My mom only in the past 2 years has jokingly referred to mushrooms and speed in sly ways of letting me know she has experienced them. So yea, I think I'll just be completley honest when I feel the time is ripe to share what my life has taught me, and the mistakes Ive learned from.
Thank you for your intestest and asking me friend!
    God Bless +
