I really liked the super messy stage before I could really tell sections of hair were locking up. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Can't wait to see what your hairs turn out like at the 1 year mark. I bet really unique.

 

Almost forgot, they're 4 months today yay!
A lot of them are getting tighter and loopy, there are some strange shapes too
on the other hand there are sections of hair that are completly straight and unknoted

oh and I have 3 new dreads, 2 backcombed and 1 t&r

 

Doing and looking great! More pictures! I'm pretty sure those straight pieces will catch up eventually, can always give em' a bit of motivation

got to 5 months, I'm really happy with them
they're finally starting to look like dreads and I have lost a LOT of lenght, specially on the back (like 2/3 )

dreads were 6 months last friday, there's a huuuge difference between the last update and what they look like right now. Last month I tought about combing out, I almost did it, but I gave it another month. It's like they got scared and started to dread at the speed of light lol .
I'm glad I didn't comb them out

 

There was nothing wrong with htose progress pics anyway.
